Jim, thx for this masterpiece. this is just the first time I go through the material and I realize it is a colossal resource, I will have to come back to fix my knowledge and understanding.your work to make this video is amazing, you have a truly magical talent
Are there charts for IV rank available on individual stocks? For example, I'd like to see some historical data for how long and at what levels $FL has had a high IV rank. Seems like it's been a while
Please somebody clarify me why gamma is negative for short call ? If CE short and underlying asset declines then how this is negative? Similarly if PE short and underlying asset increases then how this is negative and impact the profitability negatively ? Is it something always negative for option seller irrespective of favorable or unfavourable move?
Leave it to you, Doc, to take a series on _Greeks_ and work some *_Latin_* into it. Sometimes the Greeks sneak up on you, too. (As the people of Troy learned, _”Beware of Greeks bearing gifts!”)_ 😀 Take a vertical credit spread that goes against you. Specifically *BOTH STRIKES* in the money, then you just happen to notice that theta is now *NEGATIVE!*
Negative theta on a short premium position is always an eye-opener the first time it happens..! And what Greek course would be complete with a little Latin, you know!?!
Varies depending on account size mostly...but generally 1-5% of Net Liq for defined-risk and 3-10% of Net Liq for undefined-risk...the larger your account, the lower those numbers can be for you.

Indeed, so I don't have to do it on my own 😊

Haha - truth!
In the money and long 😉
color is not greek, I would call it sigma, I would call charm lambda
Yeah, some of the Greeks have several names pointing to the same Greek, as if it's not confusing enough already.
