He doesn't deserve nor the others should suffer. Phos is more of a villain in his current stage, we would be mad at him if we were introduced in a timeline where Phos is in an active role as a villain. The reason why we sympathize strongly with him is because we've seen him grow-- we were there when he was still a baby-baby-- unbeknownst to us that he is going to be a villain in the future. And that's why we wished for his happiness. Ichikawa is honestly a good author for setting a main character we'll get attached to that is actually a villain-in-the-making.
@@procrastinatingme953 phos is not a villain in the current stage and yes I agree about the fact that we sympathise with them because we saw how they change , but that's it we saw how they change phos is no different than eren ( in few things) both eren and phos knew new things and wanted to change phos betrayed adamant so he can prey and get rid of the lunarians and live in peace but things didn't go their favour and in the end they got frustrated and angry and went insane wanted to break those who broke them so I don't see them as a villain I see them more of a tragic anti- hero

I have a scientifically realistic new ship name for Cinnabar x Phosphophyllite!
"Amalgam" because when Cinnabar's mercury melded with Phos, this is what mercury mostly does to gold:
In mines, mercury is used to recover minute pieces of gold mixed in soil and sediments. Mercury and gold settle and combine to form an amalgam.
So when Cinnaber's mercury infused with Phos's body and in the actual scientific terms of geology, Cinnaphos, aka (the new name by myself) Amalgam, is canon baby!!
