The worst part of any Radiohead performance is when it's all over and you have to go back home to the real world. I could listen to this band and this band only for the rest of my life and be content. Perfection.
To me, this is one of the most uplifting Radiohead songs. Usually their songs are very dark but this one feels like coming out of a dark time in your life. Realizing that for a minute there, you lost yourself. This song helped me get over a break up. I lost myself, I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, but my friends were there for me. Karma came back to bite her in the ass, that's what happened when you mess with me and my friends. Now I'm back and feeling better and able to move on with my life.
Amazing. Amazing. And amazing. Everything about Thoms movement, unique voice and just the fans singing along! I'm simply amazed. I'm totally.. Like.. There's no words for this! No band could ever cover a Radiohead song, or replace them if they died in a accident! (7-9-13), Knock under the table :).
Does anyone else think what happens at the "this is what you'll get" section is kinda genius. I remember being rocked by that bit the first time I heard it when I was about 15, and it still takes my breath away now.
Oh God I know what you mean! "Karma Police" was soul shaking that night. That was truly the best time of my whole life. "Fake Plastic Trees" was my favorite though. Everything was perfect, but "FPT" just reached beyond perfection. Though this came close. Best band in the whole world.
I'm glad that you understand what I was trying to say. I can never get bored by Placebo and that's one of the things that make their music special for me. I have to admit that I don't know much about Radiohead and Muse in general. I don't even know if they actually know each other's music. Of course I've noticed some similarities but I didn't know that Radiohead had such a big influence on Muse. Thanks for the information.
This song was originally inteneded as a joke as a lighter song for the middle of ok computer, they didn't expect it to be so amazingly popular and I personally don't see it as a humourous song, I think it is absolutely amazing and maybe deeper than they inteneded it to be/ thought it was.
The second half of this song just may be the greatest 2 minutes in the history of live music. Strong claim, I realize- but seriously this is one of the best performances I've seen by Radiohead and the crowd was so into it they actually sing louder than Thom! Goddamn this is just too good
+Magnus Seidenfaden I actually enjoy seeing incredible bands fuck up,shows their still human. plus if I was playing in front of thousands of people id shit myself haha
oPanicAtTheDisco0 could you explain why Panic's version is better? Could you explain why you think that their version is better than one of the best bands of all time, playing at one of the best festivals of all time, with about 50,000 people singing along. Personally I think you've got a pretty fucking hard job explaining that one.
OK Computer is definitely my favorite. Just so epic. The rest are, of course, amazing as well, but OK Computer holds a special place in the music-related part of my heart haha
Did you ever notice how the bridge "this is what you get.." sounds like Sexy Sadie by the Beatles. Knowing them its probably mentioned on the liner notes, but I dont own this album. My favorite song by them is "idioteque" and I didnt realize until last year it has two samples in it. Both of which are from songs released in the seventies, probably why I like it so much.
Yeah, messed up in 97, so did it again. And also this song is amazing. Love how the crowd just over sings Thom Yorke. Jonny Greenwood also amazing guitarist. Radiohead FTW!
There is a 45 seconds missing of this song, he returns to the mic and sings a capella with the rest of the audience and that part is as much as powerfull as the entire song and performance.
@ardbucho1 "There were some criticisms of the 2002 festival that it lacked atmosphere, because of the reduced number of people, which reflected the smaller numbers jumping the fence.[90] The number of tickets was increased to 150,000 for 2003" - Wikipedia
Verse 1: "Arrest this girl, her talks in math" He started verse one with the lyrics of verse 2, and then caught himself and went back into verse one. Lyrical dyslexia. I do it from time to time. Good to know Thom does it too :) this song never gets old
of course theres always some who actually know what good music is but you know what I mean. 80 percent of your high school probably has no idea who radiohead is and if they do then you live in a really cool area.
when this came out i totaly didnt 'get it' then after about 5 or 6 listens it clicked in my brain like a light switch ! one of the finest songs ever made ;o)
WOW I'm shock .. I've never seen this .. its incredible... I want to see them so bad now!!!! Now I understand why alot of people left angry comments about the guy from Rock show, Toby Rand, saying he murdered the song... and he did.. original its amazing..
The worst part of any Radiohead performance is when it's all over and you have to go back home to the real world. I could listen to this band and this band only for the rest of my life and be content. Perfection.
Hearing the crowd singing "For a minute there I lost my self" gives me goosebumps every time I listen.
"Arrest this girl her... Talks in maths..." Lol
2:38 goosebumps!!!
But it must be said: Thom could be a character from a surreal David Lynch dream
😂
Why do Ed's background parts always sound like he's screaming "EDDDDDDDdddd...."
He's a pokemon dude
Can't unhear it now.
He's actually saying EEEEEEEEDDDDDDDdddddd

i can't imagine what it feels like to sing a song that you wrote with tens of thousands of people supporting you. pure magic
See that quick smile after he says the intro into the mic at the very start? Knowing the crowd is going to love it... Priceless :)
Best song ever
Amazing. Amazing. And amazing. Everything about Thoms movement, unique voice and just the fans singing along! I'm simply amazed. I'm totally.. Like.. There's no words for this! No band could ever cover a Radiohead song, or replace them if they died in a accident! (7-9-13), Knock under the table :).
Thank god for Radiohead.
And no one made music like that before. How deeply satisfying must it be to play that music.
Does anyone else think what happens at the "this is what you'll get" section is kinda genius. I remember being rocked by that bit the first time I heard it when I was about 15, and it still takes my breath away now.

Best band in the whole world.
this is without a doubt the most haunting live performance of this song around. It gives me chills. This is strong stuff.
Hearing a crowd of people sing your song like this would really put you on top of the world...
I'm glad that you understand what I was trying to say. I can never get bored by Placebo and that's one of the things that make their music special for me.

ahhh hearing the crowd sing is just so bloody amazing... thom is amazing!!!
The crowd looks so happy and alive without cameras and phones taking over the experience!!!
Ikr It's how its supposed to be.
Live the moment, or you'll regret later. The Live recordings are released for a reason.
Oh man, the "For a minute there..." part was just incredibly powerful. Radiohead is on the top of my list of bands to see live before I die.
This song was originally inteneded as a joke as a lighter song for the middle of ok computer, they didn't expect it to be so amazingly popular and I personally don't see it as a humourous song, I think it is absolutely amazing and maybe deeper than they inteneded it to be/ thought it was.
I don't even know what its about but it makes me weep, all hail the power of radiohead
Thom messed it up for the millionth time, and can no longer blame drugs at this point.
My drum teacher show me this song and now this song opened my music world
2:37 this part makes me lost myself
Whoever edited this video did an amazing job- it makes you feel like you're there.
thank you 2:47 maestro
Here, in Argentina, this band took my soul for ever. Cheers!
Damn I wish I was there
that actually looks like the best atmosphere ever.
I really like the way he is smiling on the 1:26, he enjoys how ppl like this song and sing louder then he is))
The second half of this song just may be the greatest 2 minutes in the history of live music. Strong claim, I realize- but seriously this is one of the best performances I've seen by Radiohead and the crowd was so into it they actually sing louder than Thom! Goddamn this is just too good
This is the best concert i've ever seen! what great piano player jonny is
I'm a kid in high school. And I love radiohead.
I understand exactly what you're trying to say. It's impossible to explain it with words, you have to feel it - and I do.
Arrest this girl? Shouldn't it be arrest this man for the first part?
there's no should or shouldn't on music.
+gibson sheraton So you actually say that he could sing "smells like teen spirit" as well?
+Magnus Seidenfaden I actually enjoy seeing incredible bands fuck up,shows their still human. plus if I was playing in front of thousands of people id shit myself haha
he misspoke, i also get confused in my own lyrcis
A lot of bands do it to show they aren't lip syncing .
2:41 sec, magical moment.
incredible crowd.
I love when he smiles at 0:07 like he is saying : "yes you like it .."

de mis favoritas! valla que radiohead es un grupo actual de los mejores que van para leyendas.
The awesomeness of this song just bounced of the shallow heads of the 63 people who disliked this.
this is what you get
this is what you get
this is what you get
if you listen to radiohead
Goosebumps throughout the entire song...
the crowd singing is vital
The only sad thing about this is this was the first time Thom did the a cappella reprise but both the TV & radio broadcast cut it.
IS SO BEAUTIFUL WHEN PEOPLE SING
so true crowd makes it soooooooooo much better like dont look back in anger of oasis live in manchester
radiohead is the greatest period
I saw them a week ago and they just played a very crazy version of karam police!
but it was so amazing!
looks like Thom's got his swagger on, look at him bounce around the mic.
Great performance. And song, of course.
this video gives me tingles. real tingles.
OK Computer is definitely my favorite. Just so epic. The rest are, of course, amazing as well, but OK Computer holds a special place in the music-related part of my heart haha

This Is How God Speaks To Us..... Through Radiohead !!!

Yeah, messed up in 97, so did it again. And also this song is amazing. Love how the crowd just over sings Thom Yorke. Jonny Greenwood also amazing guitarist. Radiohead FTW!
I just lost myself ... completely !!! Karma Police !! best song ever. ( full stop )
goosebumps when the crowd beats him to "few, for a minute there.."
phew, i passed out trying to hit the high notes. thom's such a talented vocalist.
There is a 45 seconds missing of this song, he returns to the mic and sings a capella with the rest of the audience and that part is as much as powerfull as the entire song and performance.
Fair enough. One performance out of many.
what a voice! to beautiful
truly amazing music saw them play in montreal last year around this time
This is a inmortal anthem!
Crowd sings right over him. AMAZING!

Verse 1: "Arrest this girl, her talks in math"
He started verse one with the lyrics of verse 2, and then caught himself and went back into verse one. Lyrical dyslexia. I do it from time to time. Good to know Thom does it too :)
