Ok, im really openminded - would anyone please explain me why corpse party is anything more than a couple of kids getting slaughtered by kid-ghosts? If i remember correct there is no way for a really good ending, since they have to tear-jerk the player. Since so many of the protagonists are getting murdered anyway, I dont quite see a point in rooting for them - thats like rooting for someone sitting on an electric chair. Same goes for higurashi - it feels as if both were made simply to justify a game/anime with kids getting slaughtered and tortured.
