Guaranteed the petrol cap is missing because the electric release isn't working. Not accessible from the boot. The only way in is to break the lid off leaving the black plastic lever. You can then cut the plastic securing pin so you can open it manually.. 100% very common problem on the meriva B I've done 3 now. Another common problem is the power steering pumps fail. Check the fluid.
@@baconbuttties yes I've seen them too. You have to exchange your pump at that dealer. Can you believe it has a plastic gear in it? That's what breaks. The pumps are around £600 to buy outright then the cost to have fitted. The gear that breaks is £68 so the guys doing the exchange make about £200.
Copart are very greedy with fees, especially delivery. I'm literally 15 miles from their Colchester branch but still get charged £85 + Vat for delivery. Apparently they are opening a 68 acre super centre near Bury St Edmunds in 2022 so assume fee hike is paying for that.
Hi… the -£8 in vat charges is the vat on the lot retrieval (£40) because they are delivering they revert the £40 + the vat on this fee. Good luck with the new car
Could you please advice, is there in UK any company/licensed person to buy vehicle at copart UK on behalf of me (I am citizen of country Georgia, Tbilisi) and organise all necessary procedures to ship vehicle to Georgia?
Avoid C cars. Customers. I.e, they bought it from copart, there’s something drastically wrong with it so they sometimes partially fix it and bung it back to be someone else’s problem. Also avoid Cat U. Stick to S, X and P.
@@baconbuttties Just joking, as in 0:02 in right lower corner there is that ad with discount 😄😄😄 Just a quick question about Copart bidding, do i have to pay for bids as well? Lets say 1 bid 10 quid. Or how its works?
@@baconbuttties yes they are removed off the database and then as there is no log it is classed as hpi clear. The insurance still has to pay out as these cars don't get returned to their owners the majority of times. I buy 10 salvage cars a week from copart and have come to spot these things a country mile off

Yes I have heard pumps can be costly , I did see someone is refurbing them on ebay for £295.00

@@userwl2850 you can't buy the gear? Or do you need special tools to do the job.

Im about 50 miles from Bristol and I think that is about £85. £85 must be the starting price for delivery. The fees do get you.

Hello mate I hope you are in Luck! tomorrow!fingers crossed!
Thanks, I could do with some luck.
Good luck May the Car gods be with you
Thank, hope so.
Lot retrevel fee refund is no longer available. So charge you £40 plus vat for them loading the car onto their own transporter unbelievable .

Hello! Is it really better to sell a car than to have it repaired in Europe?
Repairs go through insurance companies and can only be done by approved garages so the cost is high

I can't find anything drastically wrong with it and it passed an MOT. I need to study the abbreviations a bit more 👍
Looks like a stolen recovered car that was on false plates. Usually good buys.
Yes all is good 👍
How are the insurance prices on stolen recovered are they like any other vehicle or higher ?
@@skyarsenallll makes no difference to insurance.
Hi, insurance was more expensive for a car with category N?
Never has been for me 👍
Did you use Klarna discount code? :-DDD
