  • For day 13 of GR92 the plan was to make 15kms hiking from Tamariu through Llafranc and Calella de Palafrugell and getting to Palamos to the campsite. We expected the trail to be easy to moderate looking at the map as we saw several uphills and downhills with one major 200m climb. It promised to be a very beautiful day and we hoped to discover amazing hidden beaches in the cliffs and walk along the sea line as close as possible most of the time.

We are a couple who once fell in love with mountains and couldn't get back. So we decided to follow our heart and move from a big city to a small village to be able to do what we love and to create this content. Our goal is to promote the healthy lifestyle, to motivate people to travel more and care for nature around. We are passionate walkers who love hiking, trekking and camping. We offer the detailed information of our hikes and routes, including the map and all the directions, so that you can repeat it if you'd like to.
We choose walking over driving and other types of transportation whenever we can because we learnt that this way we see so much more and can explore and feel the place better. Walking is an excellent activity that has so many benefits to your health and requires no special equipment or practice, so we encourage you to get the most out of it and get out walking.
We speak English, Spanish, French and Russian, so don't hesitate to address to us in your native language.

Loved watching this video. Such a beautiful part of the world! I've been living in Begur and Playa de Pals from 1998 - 2005. My daughter was born in the hospital of Palamos. And she's 19 years old now. Your beautiful video brings back a lot of precious memories. And we took a lot of swims in Tamariu!! Thank you for sharing your adventures! Greetz from the Netherlands.

That was a funny house with the slanting door. Thanks again for sharing 🙂

Glad to see and yes, your photos and video did its' most to give justice to the beautiful nature. I timed this coastal part notth of Barcelona also in the warm autumn some 10-15 years ago. Lovely scenery from cliffs looking over the lovely Mediterranean. You filmed some nice sandstone castle or something and it looked very similar to "El Convent" I think it was called just above Blanes. Was guest to a wedding taking place there, can really recommend it in case you would want tips on that matter ;-)
Anyways - allways lovely to walk with you up and down the hills you encounter!

Thanks so much, Anders, we tried our best, but usually it is simply not possible to transmit all the majesty. It was our favorite day of the hike we think, very serene and we met everything we expected from this trail. We have never visited this castle, sounds amazing!:)

Amazing that area declared non development zone! 1969-1974 spent many months in summer using Cala Estrata beach. Exactly the same including the brick hut. Spanish people only knew the long winding dirt roads and footpath. Few Germans, Dutch and of course arty English avoiding torremolinos. Blue sea and blue sky every day.
