Ween - The Argus (The Mollusk Demo) (High Quality)

- Most people know this track as The Argus Pt. 2, but the fact is that this song came from years before the track off of quebec. It was another take on the concept of The Argus in a sense. This is the best quality version of the track I had, as it features no distortion on the vocals or instruments, as well as having the full static with no reduction or fadeout, further preserving the demo in its original quality. This is far better than any of my past "Argus 2 Remasters" as it is an original high-quality version. All I did was slightly change the EQ as to present the full audio spectrum of this demo best.

It's interesting that this gets labeled as the Argus part 2 on some demos or at least from fans who name the songs. I wonder which song was written first.

"Call on Argus" is definitely the better name for this track. But when you've known it as Argus pt 2 for years its hard to relearn the 'proper name' for this track

Yeah, I’ve began to see how many years ago Ween fans would get new demos and then add fade ins and fade outs and remove static. In theory it doesn’t sound too bad, but with free software in 1999 it ruined the audio. The fade outs and such I see the most, and those are horrible since it removes pieces of music that should be archived and preserved. I think Ween fans many years ago were more focused on making Napster filesets than actually archiving the work.
