I’d love to do some of Monet’s impressionist paintings as diamond paintings. I imagine the confetti would be insane. Narrowing down which painting is that hard part.
Hi Jessica- so glad to see you back regularly 💕I actually didn’t have a custom wish list - until now. Love the Van Gogh you showed in this video….Thank you for educating us!
I love floral old master works. I would love to do a Diamond Painting of Tulips, an opium poppy and so on by Wybrand Hendricks. It would be gorgeous but sooooo big.

Just last night I watched a video about The Meeting on the Turret and immediately added it to my list. The St. Cecilia painting that you showed is definitely going on my list!
I should saw my very first diamond art painting was Starry Night and started my love for old masters and diamond art. The next 6 purchased was old masters of Van Gogh and Monet. 😂😂 I’m working on The Water Lily Pond for the event this year.
I have added Mucha's moon and stars to my near term customs folder. I discovered Mucha this year while preparing for this event! I'm also a big Waterhouse fan and have always wanted to diamond paint his mermaid combing her hair on the beach (forgot the official name 😜)
My Old Masters wish list. I have Sympathy from Briton Rivière. Not sure if that one is doable. But, I do love some Van Gogh. Fishing Boats on the Beach at Saintes-Maries. So relaxing.
I love Waterhouse as well! and love your quote " I never met a Waterhouse I didn't like" I'm going to borrow that one! I'm doing Zodiac this year but for sure doing a Waterhouse next year! m doing
Hi Jessica! I’ve always wanted to do The Kiss and happy that Im working on it right now (from DAC). Saint Cecilia will go to my wish list. Thank you for showing that. My son plays piano that will definitely look pretty in the room.
Hi Jessica, I am going to be doing William Adolphe Bouguereau (1882) evening mood. I won't be able to start it till next week. But I do love this event. Have a good one.
I was looking up information about my artist, Evelyn de Morgan, and found out the inspiration behind the painting Sleep and Night. I honestly just liked it bcuz of the use of vivid color. I'm having fun and learning. Good times!!!
Hey Jessica 😁 Well, I finally kitted up and began to work on my canvas "Kiss Me" by Henry Clive, from Jaded Gem Shop. Since being introduced to SWTM last year, I really, really wanted to diamond paint "Miranda - The Tempest" by John William Waterhouse, soooo....I have recently ordered it! There's so many canvases to choose from! Thanks for the fantastic WIP and Chat! 🥰🥰💖💖 xx Cynthia
I am working on Alphons Mucha‘s Feather to go along with his Primrose which I did last year. I also have two other works of Mucha’s that I have previously diamond painted. I guess I can be considered a Mucha junky.😀. This is the first time I’ve heard about Summer with the Masters and I am very excited about participating. Thanks for making this event possible.
Hello Jessica! I am very excited to be participating this year. I would love to do a custom of "Boreas" by John William Waterhouse. Thank you for hosting!
This is my 1 st year with summer with the masters. I’m working on starry night by Van Gogh. I want to someday work on the Irises by Van Gogh. We have them growing all around the house. It’s been fun to see all the old masters paintings everyone is doing.
Jessica I love the choices of paintings you showcased today! I am just dipping my toe into this genre of diamond painting. I have recently added Pallas and the Centaur by Sandro Botticelli. I also added The Wrath of Neptune by Charles le Brun.
I've only recently taken interest with old masters' paintings, mostly due to this event so I'm very thankful to you and Katie for introducing a whole new world of diamond painting to me 🥰 While looking around, I fell in love with 'Still Life of Flowers' by Rachel Ruysch. The real painting is so realistic and I'm very interested about how it will look like in diamond painting. Surely it will go in my custom wishlist!
I love all your wish list customs…so beautiful. I would really love to diamond paint Winged Figure by Abbott Henderson Thayer. It’s been on my wish list since the Summer with the Masters last year. Thanks for hosting the event a second year!
I think my sign up thing went through. I've added the summer sunflowers from Van Gogh 1888. I love Van Gogh, as a kid my art teacher drilled Van Gogh in our heads. I also like those season banners. I believe Kate is doing the summer one, I just forget who those are from.
I added the Mermaid to my wishlist when I couldn’t find anyone with it….it took about 2 weeks and a sale at Dreamer Designs for me to order it as a custom…but I ordered a cropped version unlike Lena who went giant 😂😂😂😂
Lovely video! I’m so enjoying this event, thank you! I just finished L’Ermitage by Daniel Berthon. Next on my list is one by William Henry Gore of a Victorian era child and a springer spaniel. Wish list includes a number of Alphonse Mucha seasons.
So happy to be joining all of you this time around. I watched and enjoyed from a distance last year, but was ready to jump in now and give it a try. For this year's event, I am working on "The Meeting on the Turret Stairs" by Sir Frederic William Burton (1864) from Distracted by Diamonds. It took a couple of sections to get hooked and used to this art style, but now I am in the swing of things and am absolutely loving it! I would love to give "Windflowers" from John William Waterhouse a try, perhaps my first custom?! Thanks for the fabulous WIP 'n Chat (gave me fond rememberances of Art History Class) and for hosting this event again this year. It's going to be a beautiful summer!
There are so many to pick from, but I'd want to do, I am half-sick of Shadows by John William Waterhouse and Frank Brangwyn's The Swans is another classic I admire.
Hello! So excited to participate in my first event! Already had starry night in my stash so working on that one first. I did order monets water lilies but it is huge! If I was to do a custom I would want monet 1873 the poppy fields near argentueil. I love poppys! Thank u to you and Katie for hosting this event again!
I have added several, including from this video, but I now have ‘The Soul of the Rose’ by John William Waterhouse. It is currently in my cart from Diamond Painting Shoppe and I think I will go ahead!!
I love "Hermia and Lysander" by John Simmons - might be a bit dark for a dp but the painting is beautiful and I'd love to try something like it one day:) Ancient Chinese paintings (and Asian artists in general) have great potential too!
Hello! I love the impressionists. I've been fortunate enough to attend a few exhibitions, and seeing those canvases in real life, well it's humbling and moving. Your question has inspired me to dig out my exhibition books and pick a favorite. I think Gustave Caillebotte's Roses, Garden at Petit-Gennevilliers c1886 would be a beautiful diamond painting. Flowers, a pretty woman and a companion animal, It's the diamond painting trifecta! I completed the entry form last week and hopefully you will be able to match-up my UA-cam alias to my email, as they have nothing in common. Thanks again to you and Katie for all the hard work pulling together this event.
I am now working on my first Old Masters canvas, Van Gogh Poppies, but I am sure it won't be my last. I have learned so much and been introduced to many wonderful Old Masters artists through the videos of yours and Katie's. I am really wanting to do one of the many Alphonse Mucha paintings that I have discovered but I think Zodiac would probably be my first choice. Thanks for all the wonderful videos and this great event!
I would love to do an Artemisia Gentileschi painting Judith and Her maidservant from 1613 I think it could be lightened up but it would be a beautiful big canvas.
Lady Elizabeth Russell (Keppel) I saw this painting a lot when I was looking for a custom but it wasn't what I wanted at the time, but honestly it very beautiful, I would like to have it lightened up due to the dark areas of the painting by the statue but the dress and the flowers are stunning. You and Katie have taught me a lot about this process along with Jade the Taylor, so I'm happy to participate in this event.
I remember when you were finishing up The Lady of Shalott by John William Waterhouse, and was really drawn to it. At the time I was very new to diamond painting so something that large and involved was over my head, but it's on my wish list now.
While I have fallen in love with so many Old Masters paintings, I discovered John William Waterhouse paintings which intrege me the most. ‘I am half sick of shadows’ said the Lady of Shallot, Windflowers, and Mermaid are a few of my favorites. I have the beautiful Lady of Shallot and after reading the story, I am more in love with the painting than ever. Another Old Master I have come to enjoy is Emile Veron. I have started ‘The Cherry Pickers’ for this event.
My custom wish list is mostly Bouguereau right now. But the one I want most is called Le Livre de Prix (The Price Book) by Bouguereau from 1901. There’s just something about the expression in the little girl’s gaze that is super compelling.
Hello! After seeing John William Waterhouse's Mermaid in your video I ordered it as a custom. I am doing Soul of the Rose right now and I am so in love with his work. Thank you so much for showing me artwork that I may have never seen before. I have just added the Pot of Basil to my wishlist. I have to complete it!!
I simply love your passion for the Old Masters paintings that you display in your videos on Summer with the Masters. I have added several of the ones you mentioned in last year’s videos as well as Alphonse Mucha’s Summer and Spring paintings. I know that these are available from some current DP sellers however I prefer resin square drills. So I will need to order mine from one of the shops y’all mentioned. Thanks for continuing to spread the love and I really wish we had more that we could just buy as a kit. Someday, right?
I am working on the old masters that I have aways wanted it is stary night by van gogh. But I am look forward to see more old masters. And finding new old master to work on.
I recently added The Soul of the Rose by Waterhouse to my wishlist for future diamond paintings. He has some really great paintings that I would love to work on as diamond art!
I ask so have been doing some research into the Japanese artist Hokusai since I am working on his “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” painting. His woodblock print series called “Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji” has since caught my eye and some of those would be neat to do also.
I have ordered the canvas and the drills for Romanische Ruine by Ferdinand Knab, 1894. I have received the canvas (HAED) and will be waiting on the drills for quite some time because they are an enormous amount, this will be huge. (110x155)
Hi Jessica…l am currently working on Starry Night by my favorite painter Van Gogh. I plan to complete another Van Gogh piece this year called The Bedroom. It is a custom DP and it is on my birthday wish list….hint hint for my hubby 😬
I would love to do The Arts: Dance by Mucha. I saw it up on The Diamond Painting Shoppe but sold out. I’ve set notifications for when it restocks. It’s beautiful. But ohhhh The Falling Star you showed is beautiful!!!
I loved all your choices. Theres so much, you can look all day! By Waterhouse I also love Ariadne, Miranda, Persephone, The Siren and the Magic Circle and John Collier, Lady Godiva and Frederick Leighton, Flaming June. Oh my the list keeps getting bigger. 😂I'm sure I'll see a hundred more during this summer,
I’m started working on Van Gogh’s Starry night 50x 70 on June 1st. I’ve always been drawn to this painting and wanted to have a print hanging in my home. When I started diamond painting I stumbled on a very small version and starting looking for a bigger one . I found it and it has been in my stash for quite awhile until I saw summer of the masters which gave me motivation to work on it. As far as my masters wishlist I really want. Monet’s Japanese Bridge the colors are fabulous. Mid Summer’s Eve by Edward Robert Hughes and Waterhouse’s Pandora’s Box… Being Greek, anything from mythology fascinated me.
I've always loved Sunflowers by Van Gohg, I'd love to do that one some day! I know Diamond Dotz does a version but I don't like that it's a partial haha.
I never ordered a custom there is some family photos I want to do but not thought about the old masters. I have only the one I am doing in my stash as had money off in hobby craft it's like your hobby lobby
Currently working on Klimt’s The Kiss. I would love to get a custom of JW Waterhouse’s Miranda (The Tempest). It looks beautiful and I have always loved doing water scenes.
Wow week 1 is already over! There is an Alphonse Mucha exhibition in The Hague which I’d like to visit. For a Diamond Painting I would love to work on a painting from Frances MacDonald-MacNair, a Scottish artist. I love the darker III Omen, but also Bows, Beads and Birds.
I have a growing list of customs that I want from Waterhouse going including Lady of Shalott. I am officially adding the one you just showed in this video as well. I admit that I have not tried a custom yet because it intimidates me a little.
Muhammad Zaman’s painting “King Turktazi’s visit to the magical garden of Turktaz, Queen of the Faeries” dated 1675. He was a Safavid area translator, illustrator and painter from Iran.
I have The Red Gate of Hongo in Snow by Hiroaki Takahashi that is been a piece that has interested me from Uniquely Yours Down Under since I found that site. I’ll be working on it this summer after I finish Soul of the Rose…I can’t wait!
My recent trip to Barnes Foundation had me thinking how all Dr. BARNES art pieces can be turned into diamond painting. He has a beautiful collection of Renoir paintings. Good god did Renoir like to draw women in general but especially naked women. Needless to say I am looking into getting a custom of at least one of his masterpiece, maybe a panel of Caryatids, or a standing bather. However, I did add soul of a rose to my old masters collection and the meeting on the Turret stairs. But Jessica your choices in the old masters art work make me and everyone on your channel give up on regular canavs and stick with old masters. Thank you for the inspiration you give me.
The Unwelcome companion (A street scene in Cairo) by John William Waterhouse, painted in 1872. I am very new to Old Masters, so my Costums list is not miles long yet, but trust me, I keep adding to it 😅😅 Actually it was Lenka that sort of introduced me to this genre in Diamond Painting and I absolutely love all the beautiful paintings out there ❤️❤️❤️ Freyas Tear by Anne-Marie Zilberman is such a joy to work on and I can't wait to see her done 😍
I’ve been thinking to transform one of my Monet cross stitch patterns to DP (particularly the Waterlilies). Another I’ve been thinking about is one of the Degas ballerinas, still have to decide which’s one though…
I love so many that I will never be able to finish them all. I have a couple of JWW,Collier, Draper in my stash for Summer with the Masters. The top two on my wishlist right now are actually for drills and chills. I want to get “The Bat Woman” by Albert Joseph Penet and, “Pierrot’s Embrace” by Guillaum Seignac.
Hello and thank you! This was a very enjoyable video. I have too many in my wish list to list, but to name a few is “A Little Sea Maiden by William Henry Margetson, “A Deep Sea Idyll by Herbert James Draper, “Calypso” by George Hitchcock, “Lady Godiva” by John Collier, and of course, I have many Waterhouse that I would love to do, including”The Siren” and “Thisbe”.
I would like to do another John Waterhouse canvas. I am on the fence which one. I have completed only one by this artist, “I am Half Sick of Shadows, said The Lady of Shalott.” Perhaps “Miranda - The Tempest.”
After watching your videos from SWTM2021, I found an Alphonse Mucha that I wanted to do as a custom. But now that Mucha is available at several sites (including the kit I’m doing right now) I will need to find another artist to customize. I might look at some Japanese or Chinese art for something that’s light and airy.
I love Persephone in Repose by John William Waterhouse. I love how she represents the change in the seasons. This is absolutly stunning.
Thank you for hosting this amazing even. I would like to get the whole other 4 season series from Alphonse Mucha. He's without a doubt my favourite artist.

Absolutely! I think more and more shops are coming around!
So excied to participate!!
I have been collecting customs of Hiroshige’s woodblock prints.
I would love to do Pandora's Box by Charles Edward Perugini. Maybe next year.
I would love to do a Hilma Af Klint painting for the next summer with the masters event.
I would like to see if I can get a custom of “The Dinner Horn” by Winslow Homer. Confetti? Probably 100%, but it made me happy when I saw it.
Update: I ordered “The Dinner a Horn” from Craft Ease! I can’t wait to see the rendering!
The Unwelcome companion (A street scene in Cairo) by John William Waterhouse, painted in 1872.
I am very new to Old Masters, so my Costums list is not miles long yet, but trust me, I keep adding to it 😅😅
Actually it was Lenka that sort of introduced me to this genre in Diamond Painting and I absolutely love all the beautiful paintings out there ❤️❤️❤️
Freyas Tear by Anne-Marie Zilberman is such a joy to work on and I can't wait to see her done 😍
Great video. I hope that I will be able to join in this year. Don’t feel bad… I am super slow also…
Hello and thank you!
