This is nice. It shows off and actually embraces the fact that fast food work (except for managing/ownership) is meant as not a full time job, but either part time or a stepping stone. A learning experience or a way to get job experience before applying for a full time job in a higher paying field. Good for you mcdonalds
Tysen P Too bad that's not the reality of the situation at all, especially not in Japan. Unless senpai is still in university, there's zero chance she'd get hired for a corporate job like the one the commercial implies. That's not how Japanese hiring works.
As someone who worked at Clownburger for longer than he'd like to admit, this is a story of a manager that's absolutely DONE, so she grooms a replacement after seeing a random kid on the street. Slowly biding her time and using her manager position to search for better jobs. The animation ends with the new kid working to do the same.
The system works better in Japan as well, since these jobs are only meant as a stepping stone into cooperate life or "Adult Jobs" . Much different from here (America).

One big thing to remember is working at a McD's in Japan is a LOT different than working at one in North America. There's a completely different work ethic there not to mention I'll bet they actually pay living wage as opposed to the working poor wages in the West. Not to mention the customers in Japan are, generally speaking, likely more polite than the entitled trash that commonly frequents fast food in North America since Japan probably doesn't consider McD's one of the four major food groups.

1:42 who saw Ronald McDonald in the car?
One big thing to remember is working at a McD's in Japan is a LOT different than working at one in North America. There's a completely different work ethic there not to mention I'll bet they actually pay living wage as opposed to the working poor wages in the West. Not to mention the customers in Japan are, generally speaking, likely more polite than the entitled trash that commonly frequents fast food in North America since Japan probably doesn't consider McD's one of the four major food groups.
I ship them, tbfh
I work at a McDonald's and I wish we knew about the Japan ad I want a actual McDonald's anime now
Japanese ads are such masterpieces, while our ads are just baby shark ripoffs by Shopee
It is getting pretty Annoying right?
