When they mentioned that Jonathan gave Simone champagne on her birthday and they had a toast at the stables, my view of Jonathan as a thoughtful and kind person was cemented. Add to the fact that he also sent Simone flowers and she sent him snacks was so cute. They might truly become good friends because of the season and hopefully they get to work together more. Side note, I’m still hoping that it will be Benedict’s story for S3 and not Colin’s, but Luke Thompson was very mum during the interview.
I haven’t read the books, so I don’t know how Penelope and Collin’s relationship go, but with the fact she’s Lady Withsledown, I think it shouldn’t be the next main couple, but if the series gets to tell the 8 Bridgerton siblings, it probably they will get the older ones first, with Collin’s the last one, and the last 3 season the younger ones to let the other grow a bit
You’re right, Benedict (because I don’t want to confuse between the 2 Lukes) was very quiet in this interview. In another interview too with both brothers he was the more quiet one. It’s funny how their actual characters are similar to their story characters. Colin looks serious and very confident. Even in the show when he jokes he still has the aura of seriousness. And Benedict is quiet, observant, and yet speaks a lot just with his expressions. He seems to be really funny, again, conveying the humor through his expressions. This all seems to be true of the actor as well as the character. And I do hope the next season is about Benedict. One, because I want it to go in the same sequence as the books, and two because out of the 3 older brothers Benedict seems to be the biggest mystery man so far. I haven’t read the books but from all videos and comments it seems like the next one is Benedict. I could just sit and watch him and be entertained by his expressions. 😂
I absolutely love this season. Loved it more than the first. I felt that we get to see more of each character and their respective relationship with each other, their families and friends. It's more than Kate and Anthony's passionate love story. It's also about the dynamic relationships they have with their families. We get to see more of the Featherintons and understand why their story is just as important as the Bridgertons. I also love the other characters that make up the show and their storylines. I am so excited to see what happens next.
the thing about Bridgerton is that the cast gets along so well that when you see them on screen it doesn't even seem like they're acting... they're all amazing ♥️
@@ashwinr8886 I found season 1 boring and the only good thing about it was the sex scenes 🤷♀️ Season 2 was better for me. Even my best friend that couldn’t even finish watching season 1 loved season 2 and Kathony😍
@@CloisForever29 the reason i found season 1 better than season 2, even though kanthony is just so good, is that it's almost flawless. its smaller arcs like the mondrich arc, the lord featherington arc and the anthony + sienna (hated them tbh), as well as the marina arc were really well done and better in comparison to the smaller arcs of season 2, and the queen is much better in season 1. plus the speeches in season 1 were just a lot better imo. but still, kanthony for life, my fav couple like, ever
@@ashwinr8886 I’m so happy are babies are coming back for season 3. More happy and steamy scenes are coming. Kathony showed everyone u don’t need sex scenes to make a couple interesting. I got goosebumps every time Kathony were in each other’s face and you could hear their hearts beating. Love/hate love stories are my favorite.
Yep. His smile is lovely, and very mischievous. Very contagious too. I haven’t read the books so I have no idea who Sophie is. Did she make an appearance at all in season 1 or 2? Or is she a totally new character like the Sharmas?
If the follow the order of the books, then Benedict books is next. Which I really hope they follow the order. His book is the one I read first, and is my favorite.
My suspicion is Francesca is next. Next season she will need to presented to the queen. She needs to meet her first husband… I have to wonder if some books will come together into 1 season.
I do hope it’s Benedict’s book first! It’ll just open up a good storyline for Eloise to potentially get back with Theo. In society, Sophie’s background is quite scandalous; a maid, bastard child on an Earl. One can hope!
love both of them but the idea that the regency era was 'the birth of dandies' and started men caring about fashion is... wildly wrong. the regency period actually saw the simplification of men's fashion in particular following the individualistic excess of the 18th century.
I didn't like very much the 2rst season. They changed too much the plot and not for better. Unconvinced scenes and lines. Jonathan lacks charm and charisma. Simone is ok, very beautiful but didn't worked as Phoebe who was perfect!. The problem is comparing Simon and Daphne's chemistry and Kate and Anthony's. A fair story to be seen once, not thousand times as the first one.
But Jonathan was my favourite since season one. I liked him better. I think his acting is decent, better than Rege's at least. I especially like the way he utters his lines in the show.
@@zahrablythe3376 By my side, watching the second season made me understand how Regé is a great actor with his multiplicity of facial expressions expressing the most subtle varied feelings. Thus bring the viewer a total involvement in the unfolding drama. Bailey can not do the same. He just stare at Simone with wide eyes and sometimes huffs, looking more as angry, not in love. Ok, he is very handsome.

Can you please elaborate on the idea that Featherintons' story is as important as Bridgertons'? I am not being dismissive just curious. Thank you.
Me too. Love it more than S1. Just want most of us want and expect in a family and a relationship.
the thing about Bridgerton is that the cast gets along so well that when you see them on screen it doesn't even seem like they're acting... they're all amazing ♥️
Luke Thompson looks like he could play prince Eric
Luke Thompson's smile, though. Perfection 🥰
This cast really sounds like the best w how they speak of each other. That Johnny x Simone connection is so lovely
Not to be THAT person but … Luke Thompson’s hands … holy fuck 🥺
Thank God I'm not the only one! Whew!
I think both the Lukes have big hands
Hats off for that interviewer who asked great questions and let the Lukes shine!
Bridgerton's bromance is my most favorite
The Bridgerton cast is so welcoming and loving. I love this cast!
Love these Bridgerbros! So wholesome and cute.
Their dynamics are so good I can’t
The fashion is actually so elegant. Really appreciate the fashion of men and women in Bridgestone.
Yessss!!! I wish we all still dressed like that. Minus the killer corsets. 😂
Season 2 was better than season 1. Anthony and Kate’s chemistry was incredible 🔥
tbh as a season, season 1 was better, but as a couple, kanthony is better than simon and daphne, i'm so obsessed with them

watching season 2 right now! binge time:)

I'm really hoping Benedicts story is next and they make Sophie a Latina because we also need representation ❤️
She may be asian
Well said, Luke Thompson
Thompson and Simone would make a nice couple.
Ya
Too true but they not very close no? And also Rege ans simone would make a hot couple!
Why do I think they are in the middle of shooting season 3? I mean at their face, they are look too BEAUTIFUL

In their defense, Anthony is so pathetic about Kate, I will be laughing as well😂
These two are adorable! Someone should cast them as a gay couple in a show.

About costumes and fashion in bridgerton what I don't like is all female characters wear almost same type of dress just in different colors.
