The Sámis are the indigenous people of northern europe and the chant is "stolen" by the people who have made this production, who have made this chant into an "american native chant". This is exotism, cultural exploitiaton and colonialism. Sacred spirit? For those who made this production nothing was sacred about the chants they stole.
Truth. If you're going to take the sacred culture of an indigenous people without crediting and paying them, at least fucking attribute it to the right culture from the right part of the world!
