- it's been a while everyone!! now that exams are over, i have finally had the time to put together all the videos i filmed over the last semester and put them into a vlog. i can't believe that this is my last preclinical year, and that i won't be studying with friends on campus ever again... however this does mean that i'll be coming back with ylogs with more clinically relevant content as i will be on hospital rotations from bezt year!!
stay tuned and remember to subscribe to keep updated xo
Loving the ending! Definitely subscribing 💕

hey!! great video!!
i'm aspiring to go to monash direct med in a couple years and i'm just wondering if you did biology in year 11/12 :) i'm going to be doing the IB, not VCE, and i saw that bio wasnt a prerequisite.. so do you think i should save myself the stress and drop bio? or would you say its very important for med :)
Hey! I did not do biology, and don’t believe it disadvantaged me much in uni- furthermore at Monash they offer a 5 week bridging biology course for those who did not do it in high school, which is a nice summarised version of everything you need to know for med! If you don’t like bio (like me haha) then definitely no need to study it in high school :))
@@YebinYang Thank you so much for replying! I really appreciate it as I'm stressing out my subject selections! following your advice, I won't do biology, as I believe it'll bring my score down because of how much content there is!!
I've heard about the bridging course.. it's great that they offer it. Did you feel that it caught you up to where you needed to be with bio? :)
No worries I'm glad I helped with your decision making! Yes I think the bridging course was very informative and surprisingly detailed- however you realise that the bio that is required for medicine is much more specific to the human anatomy and therefore the things you learn in VCE Bio (or the bio bridging course!) becomes less and less relevant with every passing year. So don't stress about it too much!
@@YebinYang Oh that's great to hear! That has definitely consolidated my decision of not doing bio. It seems like there is so much unrelated content to med in the VCE and IB bio courses, so it's probably not worth the stress. Thank you sooo much for your advice though :)
Hi! Is it possible to have scholarship as an international student ?
hey, yes i’m pretty sure Monash offers a range of scholarships for international students! i encourage you to check their website out for an exhaustive list :))
@@YebinYang Thank you :) I've checked but i couldn't find any dormitory option, is it possible to stay in dormitory?
