The "Just" factor is the fastest possible input of the move, within the move's given frame rate. Mastering just inputs takes impeccable timing, rhythm, and understanding of that specific moves frame rate.
Did they really have to replace Setsuka with another version of the same character? I personally liked the Setsuka character, she had a lot of history and fit nicely into the story line.

Man I was a dumb kid in high school playing this with friends casually. Had no clue how tor rad combo notation or so much back then. Now I am involved in the Fgc and understand al the notation etc. weird how things happen.
@TrenTonStackZ It means the second input has to be within the correct 'frame'(s) for the follow-up attack to activate, indicated when the character momentarily flashes white. Otherwise known as a 'Just Input' or a 'Just Frame', several characters utilise these kind of moves. They take timing and practise, but are often rewarding.
This guy is, in my opinion, the hardest character to use. Let alnone that ONE move that people use all the time. (214 ~ 3aB) Not to mention his just frames as well.

it would be nice if i could see the controller, I don't get how to slide input or wtf that (just) thing means or the dots or anything D: i havn't played soul calibur in forever and just got the game yesterday!
@demise121 i been usin him on 360...figured out a few combos of my own that arent shown in his regular move set...he's 1 of those characters where any regular combo he has is at max 2 hits...the rest u have 2 combine his moves and time when to use em and basically u can create your own if u gettem down right...just takes sum experimentation
If I may ask, how do you wave dash with a-Pat? I know his command dash doesn't have a 6,6 in it so you can't do it like in tekken (6,6,2,3,6,6,2,3...). Do you have to cut his command dash short somehow? Or do you just spam his dash command over and over again really fast (236 236 236 236)?
ive tryed alpha compared to normal and normal is alot easier to use though mainly i might have trouble with alpha since he has those moves that you have to switch like a to b very fast to make the move work
