I played and completed 100% every Zelda except BOTW, I did not connect with the game (still a mistery) it's just every time I try playing I finish to play another game. In the other hand Gravity Rush 1 and 2 (especially 2) got me playing until 100%. So for me I cannot lie to myself with my opinion, Gravity Rush 2 is in my opinion and time spended better. And it's true that hearing and watching people enjoy and defending BOTW it's just totally right, he put a new dimension in gaming no doubt about it, simply that this Zelda has simply not connected with me. The only thing we have to take care really is that everyone finds and enjoy "the" game and have a wonderful time. Cheers!
i started this game hot off the heels of like a dragon: infinite wealth. i found myself really missing the social features of it (ie the "aloha" button and the camera) while playing gr2, as well as in vendecentre in gravity rush remastered, which i played for a bit to prepare. the backloggd review i had lined up in my head was going to have "can't wave hi to npcs and have them say hi back like in infinite wealth" and "can't take photos OR selfies, no expressions either" as negatives in it, even if jokingly. then it. it turned out that you can do both of those in gr2. i'm barely into the game but i struggle to think of anything that could stop this game being a 5/5 (btw if they don't say hi back i scare them) edit: holy shit they have the photo safari too

I know people love the Gravity Rush games and just love the hell out of exploring places that are not only broadly expansive but also vertically vast. But once you get the gist of your gravity powers and the strokes the game throws at you, the world starts to fit that saying, 'wide as an ocean shallow as a puddle.' You don't really interact with anything outside story missions and side quest that don't really have a place in the narrative. Once you finish the story, all the side quests and challenges, you've nothing left but a world full of robots coded to act like people and move specific routes, only to disappear the moment they turn a corner, enter a building or you take your eyes off them. Basically like animatronics in a digitized theme park ride. Also that rainbow at the end was awesome, never saw that in game.
Agreed, i still adore it despite that and it`s my go-to zen game, but i really hope (if it happens) GR3 will have far more things to fill it up (like interactions, dialogue and lore), or specially a rework of the objectives because those tend to always be the same. Combat system could use some work too, as fun as it was heavy and light mode seemed to have redundant abilities and didn`t seem so well thought out.

As for combat itself, honestly it was awkward and dizzying watching Kat do exclusively kicks especially for her ground combos. The way the games are now, it's more like a 3D platformer set in a cityscape, only the most bizarre and schizoid thing about it is the way you level up. It's a realistic world, but you have you explore the world as a platformer game and collect currency to upgrade your skills. That said, I wish that Kat actually gained EXP from beating Nevi and that they'd drop loot and materials. And that there were odd jobs she could take for money. Then use the money to buy dresses, try foods from stalls and shops, buy accessories and furniture for her place, and even move up from her sewer hole house. As much as it is iconic, I would have liked it better if Kat moved into a nice apartment. And then sell the loot and materials back to the city for repairing the damage the Nevi caused. Or maybe even sell those to shops for craft dresses and accessories. Also be able to talk to NPCs.
@@PaszerDye Hmm yeah i like that idea of a progression system a lot, specially of changing your social and local standing among other things (the shopping and buying dresses or other equipment sounds like a must have too). I don`t mind the basics of the battle system tho, kicks and all are just Kat`s fighting style (maybe they could go a bit in depth and crazier there for some sort of combo potential) and the amount of movement is only a problem for me in the beginning of the game, it felt good to get used to. The Heavy/Light thing sounded interesting as evolutionary concept too, but then there were some moves like that long jump and weightless landing that are straight up worthless with Kat being able to fly and having no fall damage respectively. The abilities she had made them useless so naturally they cut off your ability to use your basic abilities to force you to use them, that was a bad move. A complete revamp so that you`d actually need it and want to use them would help miles, i mostly used it for style or to switch things up, almost never out of neccesity. Game had some severe pacing issues in the way you got those new abilities and hell, storywise too, i would`ve loved to see more of the top of the pillar, or the bottom. All in all, the basics of the game were so tremendously great that the game is still good as a result but goddamn, they could really make something perfect, there is so much oppertunity to improve on this.
I'm still mad that we didn't get to keep the Queen Alua costume. I agree with a lot of this here, especially the apartment thing or hey, even a nice house! I mean you have a character who's taken down corrupt mayors, fought a living city, beaten back a bimbo Tetsuo, and murdered the absolute hell out of their version of Satan himself. You'd think the people of Hekseville would do something for her, a celebration, a sum of money, hell even a cozy little chateau in Lei Havina! Not to mention the language system in the mines being completely different than what we already know. The world of Gravity Rush has so many questions left unanswered that I would love to see. Where did Shifters come from? How do you get a guardian? How did the world become so messed up where entire biomes are only accessible through safe mining areas? Was it magic? Technology? Some combination of both? Are the gods really gods or are they the overseers of some larger operation, referencing Bit and how he treats the entire world like a computer program? Will Kat and Raven become Creators themselves once they reach a certain level? I could go on forever with these questions. Hopefully we get answers soon.

I think they delivered it as a separate PS4 app or something. You could download the tracks to a USB device as well.
