Road To Fairy Meadows August 2020 Part-1 | Gilgit Baltistan | Pakistan

Road to Fairy Meadows starts from Raikot at Karakurum Highway and ends up at Fairy Point. This area is in district Diamer of Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan. The road from Raikot to Fairy Point is about 9 KMs and approximately 1.5 hours drive. From Fairy Point to Fairy Meadows there is about 7 KMs track which is around 3-4 hours adventurous route. Road to Fairy Meadows is considered to be one of the most dangerous roads in the world. Although this road is scary but it is considered to be highly thrilling and adventurous. We recommend to travel using local Jeeps available for rent at Raikot. The current vehicle fare price for a two way journey from Raikot to Fairy point area is PKR 8,000/-. Although we have used our own vehicle but this is not recommended since the road is too narrow and very steep at various points and Jeeps are mostly suitable.
