HUgely helpful. I truly wish I'd had this information years ago, when our dementia journey was just starting.

This has helped me so much!!!
My 86 year old daddy has vascular, Alzheimer’s and last July ( 2021) he had an ischemic stroke.
His confusion and memory loss has escalated a lot since the stroke.
This video helped me understand that what little hearing he does have remains intact but w the stroke to the left side of his brain along w the Alzheimer’s and numerous TIA’s through the last 20 years, he isn’t understanding most of what he hears 😏.
So there’s no more need for me to raise my voice( IF he wears his hearing aids, which he doesn’t most of the day).
I really appreciate the education regarding dementia so I can prepare myself for the changes coming and when I will need more help.
