yeah you're right, the Philippines is great for call centres because their English is very good, the accent is easy to understand (American influenced), and they are naturally very friendly and hospitable people (that's also why they're very popular as nurses in the UK, due to their genuine caring attitude)
Your tool Time Doctor is a fantastic tool for companies that don't necessarily want to have a manager who manually tracks staff. The tool tracks the all the activities of staff.
My previous co. laid off all the designers and outsourced them to remote workers. You know what, they postpone the projects for 3 months. Yes, you are saving up for a lower-cost workforce, but something else is paying the price. A Sales rep. role in that company, the Sales rep. has both revenue and non-revenue clients, so the co. let go of the sales, and outsource that "non-revenue" part to remote workers, but the truth is the Sales rep. brought in enough revenue to cover up his own salary costs and at the same time, take care of all the non-revenue clients. So that means outsourcing that Sales rep's job actually costs more. Outsourcing is not always a fancy story.
Very informative and inspiring. I would love to start my own ITO company or just a small group to begin with. My worry is about getting a decent company to provide service with.
I am just starting my own BPO and i think Time Doctor would work well but I need to know more and how I can implement it in stages and what it would cost me. etc
Depends on the type of bpo. If you're just running a va or call center you would literally need a website and somebody willing to work for you. I would say you should be prepared to lose 3k USD to set up.
Go and work within a BPO Org and you'll soon realise the greatest asset is the Intellectual capital retained within the org (which kind of flies in the face of the BPO idea)... and they're usually Accountants... how many Accountants of merit can you afford? You'll need great insurance -
I feel like the Transparency you talked about lacks a lot nowadays in BPO. Since it's grabbed a boost and has become a mainstream business, a lot of frauds are occurring. Thou the business model is quite fascinating, I'd like your guidance

Let's say your SaaS company is based in the USA, but you outsource to peru, how does that company cover it's liability? How does it keep its tax structure? does the outsourcing company have to have an LLC somewhere in the USA?
That will run through an employment of record company (just google it). You generally need to hire one of those firms to make it legal or set up an entity.
How could one figure out the necessary logistics after coming to the conclusion that one's BPO has the necessary potential for success? What type of person should I speak to?!
I've got my business idea. An idea that will without a doubt increase our overall production as a company (the company I work for). How do I start building this idea from the ground up? Do I create my own company and offer my service to the company I work for? Do I pitch the idea to my higherups and have them sort out all the logistics? The idea just has to do with outsourcing certain company functions (hiring people in a specific foreign country to carry out one specific task).
I without a doubt want the biggest "piece of the pie" so to speak; and I understand that I might just have to start up my own company, and offer service to the Company I currently work for. I just want to have a clear cut path as to how to go about doing that.
India is market known for its cheap labour. The Indians are work horses ready to work at any time and under any circumstances. They just need a freakin job that pays them some amount. They are insecure about their lives don't have any bigger aspirations so they take up any job they get, so smart entrepreneurs capitalize this opportunity and make use of them.
