@@aepochbrett Chiarot can play both sides though so he could take Holl's place on right D and put Lindgren with Mo. Not sure the Rangers mindset there.
LOL Frank Seravali said that Ryan Lindgren would be a perfect fit for Detroit, not that Detroit has any interest in him. I seriously doubt Yzerman is going after a soon to be UFA rental.
Yzerman isn't going to make any moves if we're not in the playoff race. I could see him selling at the deadline if we are out though. Wouldn't be surprised to see Kane go for "future considerations" unfortunately.
@GabeAstard-n1t He makes a bad trade - which every single GM makes - and all of a sudden all of his trades are for "future considerations"?? Okay bud 👌 🫵🤡
Is Lindgren an upgrade over Holl? A traffic cone would be an upgrade. As for what we'd give up for him? Def not our first rounder, that should be reserved for a player at the deadline. We don't even know if we're gonna make the playoffs this year, but if we're not, we should hold on to our first.
true!! im actually a Ranger fan, giving a 1st for lindgren is to much, a second would make more sense, even though lindgren is tough, especially in thr playoffs, a 1st would be to much to give up for him
Lego, it's a little silly when you're struggling to figure out how Lindgren would upgrade a poor LD core, then discuss whether it would cost a 1st rounder...(2) 1st rounders...not even close to a 1st rounder sir
Know Drury will most likely be a seller but, not interested. He's a UFA so I'm sure the crop of UFA's will be better at the end of the year. Holl has been a pilon and glad Mclellan called him out in being a puck watcher vs. San Jose. Most of the team was puck watching, the second worst team in the league. It's easy to pile on Husso as well but, Ville wasn't sharp Lindgren plays with Fox and only has 9 points of the year , ouch!!!. I know that offense isn't his game though. Not sure of the cap hit but, maybe if price was low, his foot speed has to be better than Holl's. So takeaway after all that is a pass, slight upgrade but sure there's better options.
Why start making trades at this point? the whole plan was to be pacient and develope our own guys. Now that were getting to the point where its on the verge of paying off lets jackoff the progress to bail out other teams, I can never over estimate how genuinely stupid people are.
I mean, I can’t see it. I doubt that the blue shirts would have any interest in Chiarot, Holl, or Petry so that leaves picks or prospects. I don’t really have a solid value on Lindgren outside of consistency, which the Wings could use at the blue line, but what is that worth? Does he even want to play in Detroit, ie would he sign? There are some prospects in the AHL that Detroit will have to find a place for in the next come of years. Would they be open to trading a Buium or Wallinder? I don’t really see it. The forward prospects will be Detroit ready about the time Kane, Copp, etc move on which could be as soon as next season. That leaves just picks. Even though he is an NHL defenseman, I personally can’t justify a first round for him unless they can sign him. So I’m thinking prospect + 2nd or 3rd rounder at most. A sign and trade would open me up to a better package.
Knowing Steve, I don’t see this happening. Would I like for this to happen? Yes sure, with the right assets given up for him, sure. Not any of our top prospects at all!
Hockey is not easy to bet on until playoffs unless you're parlaying a few players from different games for shots on goal. Or.. you could always just take McJesus for 2-3+ points per game.
Hockey is the easiest sport to live bet on though. If you watch the first 30 minutes you can usually feel out the outcome of a game and catch some decent odds. -1.5 with empty netters are easy to hit too if you're watching live.
I am 100% convinced that the only reason any rumors about Detroit come up is because the reporter knows they'll never confirm or deny anything. Ever.
Lol, yup.
When holl plays good he isn't making us any better.
When holl plays bad he is actively making us worse.
I also seen they're interested in Barzal too. I honestly wouldn't doubt a trade sending Holl, a 3rd and a 6th for Lindgren.
I like Lindgren a lot but him and Holl play opposite sides so Im doubtful

Detroit is not in a position to take on any rental players at this point, unless the Wings can get an asset in return.

Lego asks dumb questions on purpose
Kane was great last night against Florida
Would like Lindgren to take the load off seider defensively. Mo is a fuggin tank blocking shots and throwing the body. Need to get him support

Only a good trade if we can offload Holl or Petry. Any other D man and I don’t think it’s worth it.
They have to want him first

Jeff petry is not great, good, or even servicable
He's on LTIR and it's his last year. Least it's something to look forward to.
We could use a shut down D-Man, but he would have to agree to a contract before the trade, and I wouldn't give up the farm for him.

Wings would be better off bringing up guys from Grand Rapids
Holl and Petry gotta go, we need a solid Pair like Simon and Moritz
Nope. Won't happen. Those suggested returns for a player of that calibur are absurd.
Who is Lindgren ?
I’d be more interested in getting KAndre Miller from the Rangers while his value is low. Lindgren is not worth a 1st 😂
Is he a Swede or does he just have Swedish name?
He's American.
Fowler to be detroit would make me happier
