Nice . Beats winding them through by hand at a rapid rate with the ass cheaks clenched ! One of my manual lathes can cut up to 80mm pitch with the 8 to 1 ratio engaged , would be good for grease grooves .
I used to make the grease grooves in one large pass, then make one finish pass on the bore to remove any burs from grooving . Iv probably made more aluminum bronze bushing/oil impreg bronze than anything else in my career
What a lot of bronze chips to clean up. Great job on the bushings. I sat on the edge of my chair while those grooves were coming into existence. I know...CNC...and all, but still. Excellent video as always. Thanks, Chris!

Man, that's one sweet machine you have there, Chris.... Beautiful work. Oh, if the chips are a problem, I can swing by and take care of those for you...
Brilliant stuff sir👍🏻we do loads of brass machining but never came across them grooves before
I'm many ways, I find this slow, heavy machining to be more satisfying than high speed
Excellent job
Nice Chris, don't think you would et the twist rate on a manual lathe, let alone the position. It would have to be a cam feed.
That's exactly how manual oil groove lathes work; the carriage is on a cam timed to the spindle
good work
El roscado impresionante.Good job.
Канавки для смазки,а не резьба. работа родовая,так себе, а вот инструмент и станок хорошие.

I used to do that too! Full depth plunge, then rapid in as fast as possible at a slow rpm
Nice work...the cost of this sector is the unit
Info on the boring bars?

Very nice! Brass and bronze are fun, right up until chips start landing on your arms 😥
I always use an old paint brush on top of insert , stops the bronze flying all over.
С бронзулеткой приятно работать)
чистить это плохая часть.

กลึงโครตอยาก เกียวซ้าย
muy buen trabajo maestro 👍
Excuse please...why turn a small length of the OD, then bore...then go back to the OD, then back to the bore?
Hi dear friend! Our company can produce products for you, and through our supply chain system, we can save 30% to 40% of the cost of your products.

Buongiorno MAESTRO CHRIS. Complimenti 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤗🙋🏻♂️🤚
You have done a few of these. That is a good bit of bronze chippery there.
Thanks for sharing 👍
Very cool. That tape seal you did on the live center makes even more sense after seeing it in action. Thanks for uploading.
Looked like kitty litter built up there at a glance lol
Cool job and music

Another masterpiece. :o)
Très bon tourneur, bravo
Excellent video, excellent work! Thanks for sharing!
Abom 79 just did grease grooves too. Very cool, sir...as usual. 🍻
I haven't watched Aboms channel since he left his job. He hasn't done any real machining since then. Did he?
@@ChrisMaj 😆 just a couple things here and there
His vids are entirely tooooooooo long for some ( me ) people .

I'm a new subscriber and was wondering where your shop is located?
Chicago suburbs.
Uwielbiam detale z rowkami podobnego typu :) Świetna robota! Pozdrawiam!
