99 Astro deep pan and i was hoping just to order the pan with the valve already in it BUT reviews on both when you search Safari or Astro only come up with didnt fit remarks and wonder maybe they had the shallow versions or if anyone has tried the ones linked above? thanks for info and video
Yes you fill the transmission until the level is correct on the dipstick with a warm transmission with the engine idling in park or sometimes they say in Neutral .. Read you owners Manual .
Yup I have welded a few pipe unions on GM trans drain pans over the years.
