This is awesome to see. I shoot film every trip down. Definitely have gotten some strange looks especially when I have my Widelux or GSW690ii aka TexPan with me.

these are all really awesome photos! i'm so tempted to bring my TLR to disney world (wife and i are going in two weeks) - got any advice for bringing a large camera like that to disney? i don't wanna lug around a giant bag :/
Thanks so much Ian! Awesome I hope you two have fun!! Best advice I can give is just bring a shoulder bag or small backpack, pack your tlr, film, and light meter, don’t bring a tripod as it’ll slow you down and will just be a hassle to carry everywhere, and try portra 800 or any 800 speed film so you can grab some day and night shots! Lastly, don’t forget to enjoy your time there! I struggle when I have my camera being present in the moment, sometimes I found I was just trying to find the best composition and it didn’t make me the best trip partner for my fianceé haha. So I’d say bring a roll or two, get the shots you want, then rent a locker, leave your camera in there and enjoy the rest of your time with your loved ones :) Have a great trip!
@@victor.melchorfilm i appreciate the response victor! i think i've finally decided to just bring my olympus trip 35 (no batteries needed) and a pentax espio p&s. they'll each fit into our two slings and it'll allow both of us to, like you said, enjoy our time together in the parks. i'll have another chance this summer to bring my tlr and slr to the cottage so it's all good. anyway, thanks for the help! and i wish you all the best with all your wedding planning! stoked for you two :)

I want to invest in a point n shoot soon for the portability as well, and honestly the lighter the better especially since you guys will be walking a lot! Anyway I hope you enjoy your trip and capture some great memories on film!
Great video first off, but did u pass the film through the X-ray scanners? Or did u get the film hand checked? Bc I wanna shoot film here but I’ve heard X-ray scanners affect film
Thanks so much Jonathan! You don’t have to pass through x-ray scanners, just pack your camera and film in a backpack and security checks it and pushes it off to the side :) Also I’d recommend not loading the film into the camera just in case security wants you to open up the film back, and load it once you get into the park! Hope this helps! 🙌
