The tank itself does the same thing as it used to. The armor works just as fine, it depends on where you hit, not so much how much pen you have. Problem is that there are now new tanks that do the same thing, but have something extra. Type 59 (I think, I mix up the types sometimes, talking about the Japanese heavy premium) especially comes to mind.
You mean the Type57. Yes that is very similar to the 252u. The K2 does a lot that the obj252u does but with more gun depression. Then you have the Skoda golem and the TP line Europe’s heavies that also do a lot of what the obj252u does but with more gun depression so a bit more flexible. Also the Tiger 2 was buffed making it a very strong side scraping heavy that can easily win a face hug with the obj252u.
@@hisroyalbaguette6809 nah, balancing with consumables is bad. Do you really want to have two fundamentally same tanks, with the difference being which consumables they can use? I.e. M60 and M48
My 2 favourite tier 8 heavy tanks are both tech tree tanks....the Tiger 2 and Caernarvon, both different play styles but both excellent if you play to their strengths
I remember people crying about facing this
It very solid tank
Decent mobility, have strong turret & hard hitting gun
Got to love the side have troll bounce too
@@onlythena9927 that is very true mate
I do too and it was difficult to deal with first but it just shows how things have changed.

@@Stroopwaffe1 fair enough, I guess
Yeah it went down hill as soon as I got it lmao
Wait, i think i actually do. ah, I THINK I ACTUALLY DO!
Face hugging is where it’s at with this one.
I miss when my KV1 was OP and I could fend off 3 v 1. Just like in real life in the early years of WW2.

Remember when Is3 defender was overpowered?
Nice video, thanks Meadsy!
It doesn’t bounce as much as it did before so something must have changed, possibly some hidden armor stat.
I was around when this was first released and played it a lot! Great tank! Still!
It’s not spectacular, but still a solid tank in the right hands.
I used to hate you Object 252U is already on my playlist >l:)
The free K2 made this tank irrelevant
Times change. Power creep I guess?
just bought from auction 😅
It's not as good as it was. But it's still a good tank So the point of the video is?. You haven't really got any ideas for new content, have you?
different baths
but yeah, I can't stand that gun. Can't hit a thing, even close range shots go off to the side.
