This young dude is among the best on the planet right now, the tone and style is definetly satriani like in his approach but man his control and note choices are exceptional i dont think its even debatable....
Almost guaranteed that Satch was his favorite guitarist. But I like how I hear Larry Carlton in there as well. My only wish is for him to slow down once in a while and do Pink Floyd ish kind of tones
Love your command of guitar, you're getting better all the time! Really clean playing with little to no handling noise. Great legato runs. My favourite in this vid is 0:55-1:03, simple but sweet turn around. Great technical playing, thanks for showing us!
i just heard of jack a couple min on you tube, while checking out an eric johnson lesson. Jack is the man great technique, note selection, phrasing, he has it all
Thanks for the preview. . You build your licks around with the beat so well, and I must say that your note choice is good too. Its also well phrased, you let the notes come out well. Its not just a crazy shred-fest.

Here in Az we lost our last smooth jazz stationed so I'd listen to my own CDs. then my son put complications of different guitarist and I came across UA-cam thru my daughter and I heard this young man Jack with all those modes mlodies making his guitar tell the story from his heart. I'm hooked

You take little from all the top players (satriani, petrucci, gilmore, johnson). You definitely have your own style. Hopefully I can see you playing with the G3 sometime :)
