The i-FORCE 3.5-liter, twin-turbo V6 uses DOHC 24-valve cylinder heads and Dual VVTi systems to yield 389 horsepower and 479 lb.-ft. of torque. Top dog in the Tundra line is the available i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain with 437 horsepower at 5,200 rpm, and a staggering 583 lb.-ft. of torque at a low 2,400 rpm. Yet, this new powerhouse is also an efficiency maven, with up to EPA-estimated 20 MPG city/24 MPG highway/22 MPG combined fuel economy ratings, depending on model grade and drivetrain.
The new i-FORCE MAX combines the twin-turbo V6 with a motor generator with a clutch located within the bell housing between the engine and 10-speed automatic transmission. The motor generator provides additional power through the transmission, while the engine start-up, EV driving, electric assist and energy regeneration are solely done via the parallel hybrid components. The system employs a proven and reliable 288V sealed Nickel-metal Hydride (Ni-MH) battery located under the rear passenger seats.

I own the 2022 Tundra Platinum and I can definitely tell you it's luxury.

@@amjadhani8929 Tundra is only offered in petrol variant since the first generation. Now it has towing capacity of 4500 kg achieving peak torque at 1200 rpm and maintaining stability up to 4200rpm.

Meanwhile my 2007 V8 Crewmax is still rolling with over 267,810 miles…Good luck with your turbos if they last that long. Unless you’re only buying this thing to drop the kids off at school and go to the mall.

Muy bonita mucho lujo pero qué hay con la suspensión trasera y delantera en cuestión de durabilidad. Creo que eliminaron las sopadas de la parte trasera lo cual no resiste mucha carga y tiende a sentarse o bajar la parte de atrás por el peso .

I went with a 1794, added TRD for the rear locker and Bilsteins, and had to have a long bed. Love this truck!!!!

Hi everybody, great family car. Nice video.
Its a 65k Truck, not really a good option when you have a family to support and save for. If you use the standard expert conservative financial ratio of 10%-20% , you should be making almost 200-400k a year to safely afford this truck while saving for retirement and your families future. However most dont save for retirement, or just choose to live in a depreciating trailer and have no assets but at least they are keeping up with the jones's. It is a nice family truck if you and/or your spouse are loaded and well off though, just think most overreach.

I have 2023 Platinum and at a glance I don’t see any huge differences.
@Ryan Burdue the tundra in the video is a 2024 platinum title says so and I see power adjusting foot rests in the back seats something the 2023 platinum doesn't have
