In this vlog, I'm going to share with you a day of enjoying summer in Chicago.
First, we relaxed under the cool lake water and dazzling sun at the beautiful Oak Street Beach, not far from the Downtown Magnificent Mile, and then took a break at Big Shoulders Coffee, a local Chicago coffee shop.
At Whole Foods Market, I shopped for American cherries, which are now in season, and for cute cacti.
For lunch, we enjoyed a delicious American lunch at the famous Gibsons and enjoyed gelato in a park where locals relax.
Then we went to the Abercrombie & Fitch store to check out the summer fashions!
We also happened to pass by St. James Cathedral, where we were able to take a tour of the interior and enjoy the beautiful stained glass windows and the sound of the pipe organ.
Finally, we ended the day at a popular Italian restaurant.
