- Here's all characters (kinda) for Super Smash Bros Crusade CMC V7/V7.1.1
How did I get them unlocked? Spam F8 at the title screen until you get "Enter the password" popup.
(If on Laptop, Press and Hold the Fn key and then Spam F8)
The password is jioishandsome. All lower case. Press enter and go to free-for-all. Yup.

Thanks for writing how to unlock them on Laptop in the description, there were other videos where they only said how to do it on PC, and I couldn't, and the problem was because I use a Laptop, Thanks now I have all the characters unlocked.

I unlocked all of them by doing their unlock methods. It took me 3 days to unlock them all. Today is the day I got them all unlocked.
Since animu is clearly on the table I'd love to see Canti and Haruko from FLCL or some Yu Yu Hakusho reps some day in the future
I wonder if there are any Dynasty Warriors and the Crypt of the Necro Dancer characters in. If they are not, I like to see them get added in. Dynasty Warriors did have kind of like a crossover with the Legend of Zelda and Fire Emblem and Crypt of the Necro Dancer had a crossover with the Legend of Zelda. You can look that stuff up online. Some characters are still locked, so I wonder who those characters are.

@@cieldaube In Smash Ultimate, I created a mii of a Dynasty Warriors character. I also made a mii of Cadence from Crypt Of The Necro Dancer. Crypt Of The Necro Dancer would not go well for Super Smash Bros., so it would make no sense to add anyone nor anything from it to that game.

Proto-Man, Roll, Vile, Megaman.exe, Yuri Lowell, Zelos Wilder, all DB characters except Krillin, Dark Matter, DMK, Galacta Knight, Veemon, Hiei and Iron Man are all available as mods. Agumon and Patamon are in vanilla. You can also have SnowAgumon and BlackAgumon and standalone Greymon and BlackGreymon as mods. Krillin is available as an assist. Proto-Man and Dark Matter are very sketchy, the other mods are good to awesome.
Did not expect for them to have my favorite Pokemon, Riolu in it

I read the description and I spam the living hell out of that F8 press key. I'm confused of why nothing happened yet, until I read the comments that I had hold Fn press key and spam F8. Lol!

This is Smash Ultimate on drugs.
CMC V8 was such a dissapointment because it removed almost all of the crusade original cast due to engine change, also removed a chunk of cmc characters for being too poor quality or clunky (bubsy was one of my mains and I think his flaws fit the character perfectly) so for me this is the definitive version of cmc as of now
You know you can simply put them in v8? Use the char extractor in v7 folder to extract them as ready-to-install mods, then install them in v8 with CMC Mod Manager. It will convert the dats file on its own, or ask you with a prompt. It's a matter of minutes.
That is Super Smash Bros. Crusade with all characters.

How do you unlock characters without the f8 spam? I played classic and arcade twice and didn't get any new character. I want to unlock them by myself just because I want to feel it's more deserved lol. Is there a way to unlock them through game modes or just the f8 thing?

Kyo (KOF/King of Fighters), Kung FU Girl, and Neko-Arc Chaos. Those are the 3 that I'll pick and play first. The other 3 are Mokou (Touhou Project), Hyde Kido, and Ike.

alright sorry figured it out im a bit of a moron, but how do you unlock the rest of the characters? i saw the readme says it doesnt work anymore which is lame but how else do you unlock them? i was looking forward to the touhou characters
First. Go to the title screen. Press F8 69 times. I'm not even joking. (You might need to close the game first and relaunch it)
Second. Enter the password: jioishandsome
Click OK.
Third. Select any mode that goes to the character selection screen. Everyone, except 3 God characters, should be unlock.
Note: CMC v7.1 can glitch/bug sometimes.
I'm having problem with my game where the opening credits are just dots and it never ends unless I end it and sometimes the characters wont load so the screen will go black this is only sometimes though
Try changing the frameskip, when you load the game, to either 1 or 2.

Did you ever try setting the frames frameskip (it asks you at the beginning when you open the game) to 2 and then try again?

@@ShizukaLoner I'm on keyboard, but I solved it and that's no longer the issue. Is there a way to separate binds for different actions? My jump button (whatever I set it to) changes my alt costume
@StrawHatAura Whatever you have Jump assigned to is supposed to do that so it's easier to change colors I think. I might be wrong.

CMC v7.1 basically has most the mods. It's the Google drive download button. Also, if you search Crusade Archives Porboard on Google or Bing, you can find a lot more characters.

You need to get his Meter, the bar above his icon, to 4 and then press Attack + Special together to transform.

Just looked on Game banana. Ruby is available as a custom character you can add to CMC v7.1 or Crusade 0.9.4a. There's no Blake.

Check out the roster for CMC v8.1. There are some Naruto and Bleach characters added, I think. Chainsaw Man is downloadable on Gamebanana as a custom character.
