I don't mind chaotic...it makes me feel right at home! Still a good video.😊 I don't pay such huge amounts either. I do all the free stuff. £18.00 is ridiculous! That looked like a lovely walk.
@terrifictraveltales definitely not! I didn't do any of the Edinburgh sites recently. Plenty to do and see for free. I travel from Oxfordshire on public transport and I'm on a tight budget!
It's difficult to see how you could have managed to drive to Beinn a' Ghlo, which is quite a considerable distance from the nearest public road in any direction - and a formidable climb of more than 3700 feet; but full marks for having the idea! A lot of people walk up Glen Tilt, which I believe is relatively easy, though I think you'd maybe need to return the same way, for safety's sake.
There seems to be a small private road near Beinn a' Ghlo not sure how far it goes as we didn't go along it. You're right though I assume it wouldn't go the full way up! Thanks for watching 😊
@@terrifictraveltales Ahh, there's a whole network of private estate roads in the highlands, that you can walk but not drive along. They're often used by stalkers, or for pivate shooting parties and the like, or may have been built for thhe installation of wind turbines and the like, or for forestry operations. It's best to rrefer to Ordnance Survey maps, where publicly accessible, metalled roads, are usually coloured in yellow.
Interesting concept this “organised chaotic “. Must try it…travelling is enjoyable even if things don’t work out the way you planned…😊
Haha yea, travelling is most interesting when things don't go to plan😊
