Back in 2009, and for a few years following, there was a lot of hip hop style and influence in k-pop, and it's part of what drew me into the genre. The style eventually started to fall out of popularity in favor of other styles, but I never stopped loving it. Young Posse is doing an amazing job of unapologetically bringing hip hop back to k-pop and I am all here for it. I know I'm far from the only k-pop listener who wants more of this sound, and I'm confident Young Posse can make it BIG if they keep pushing forward. 🔥🔥

Same with JPOP hip hop is what got me into all of it years ago. 90’s- now I got into kpop because of the r&b style with lee hyori and other artists. It was just a whole different era in the 2000’s and early 10’s I loved it They definitely giving that 2016 rap style specially with the guys. If u listen to like early Korean rappers or Japanese rappers you see what I mean. It’s definitely different from my 90’s and 2000’s Asian rappers I listened/listen to but I love hip hop music nowadays to so it actually goes hard

Yes, it will not cater to the general public but once you find the right audience who genuinely love this sound, success will follow. As Dreamcatcher became the rock queens or as IZ*ONE defined 'elegance' in kpop with their own constant sounds, take that hiphop crown! Fighting! ❤
DSP might be putting money and connections, but the group is actually handled by Beats ENT, and that guy CEO is also the girl's music producer. DSP is the bigger name, but I thought Beats ENT. deserves the proper credit.

I will never stop being amazed by Jiana on this track. Keeping afloat and managing to impress when on the same track as someone like VJ or Token is no easy feat, especially for how young she is and how little experience she has.
