A motobug slowly wheeled up to and prodded a lifeless plushie of Sonic the Hedgehog, knocking it over unceremoniously as it hit the ground with a soft thump. Eggman's maniac cackling suddenly dropped as he stared down at the doll, just how much time had passed since then? Ever since he had defeated sonic, he _had_ fulfilled his life-long dream of conquering the world and creating Eggmanland, but everything since then had just felt..... off, like something was missing from his life. The mad genius resumed a slumped position atop his towering mechanical throne decked with chaos emeralds and numerous Freedom Fighter skulls and sighed, for once in his life, he missed having the blue blur around, all the times he thwarted him felt like a true challenge. Without him, Robotnik had won, but something just wasn't right about how he had won......
Without the blue blur, the world in Eggman's eyes had irreversibly gone gray, devoid of any adventure and any thrills to be found.

It's been at least three decades since the death of Dr. Robotnik. Since then, there has been no destruction to prevent, no adventures. Just normal life. Tails has become the local mechanic and is making a good living. Knuckles hasn't been seen outside of Angel Island all too much, and when he was seen, he barely spoke. Amy has given up on chasing Sonic around and trying to be his girlfriend, and instead is just friends with him and is living a peaceful life as gardener. She won the prize for largest sunflower last year. Silver and Blaze are happily married, and have two children. Shadow has completely disappeared and hasn't been seen for years. Cream is living with Amy and is running an orphanage for children and the Chaos. They are all properly taken care of and are given lots of love. The Chaotix trio is currently on world tour. Metal Sonic has given up on causing trouble and is living peacefully in the remains of Metropolis Zone. Rogue was last seen in Hidden Palace Zone collecting the many gems that litter the place. Mighty and Ray live together and run a bar in Mirage Saloon Zone.

Unfortunately Infinite is that unbeatable villain! He just lost all of his energy and power in the end of the game, and was legit unstoppable for 6 months! This is a real wasted character! Lets hope he comes back!

Green Hill bad future: Eggman has completly taken over, with the flower's being replaced with antenas, the tree's becoming eletric posts, the grass getting black and dirty, the checoboard floor being purely mechanised, the beautiful blue water becoming gross toxic oil and the mountain's being made into a giant chemical plant. There are badnick's everywhere, electric trap's and tons of spike's. It seem's like sonic wasn't able to save his green paradise.

4 years ago I saw this video and I got really emotional, this franchise always helped me when I went through horrible moments. This year Sonic Frontiers will launch, and I was already very happy because the story seems promising in the sentimental aspect. I don't know if we're going to be disappointed with Frontiers, so I hope that one day this character deserves such an amazing game again :')
