About 20 years ago I had to measure 32 each 3 story flat roofs in Jacksonville, Fl they had a 5 ft parapet wall around the perimeter and each roof was a different size. I was using my 40 foot ladder which was a beast to move and it was mid-July. After I had completed about 14 buildings this young maintenance guy came up to me and said, "you know there is a balcony on the back-side of each roof that has stairs and it's just 8 feet below the parapet. LOL I used my estimator's ladder the rest of the buildings and was thinking, this sure would have been useful to know 14 buildings ago.
@@Cleanpowerwash I could handle one till I was 65 but then I was running the company and only did it to show some young rookies how to do it but I was at my limit. I'm not 69 and retired. It was a good video. We did some stupid things in our younger day. I would never let an employee do that now. Once pulled my truck up to the back of a building and put a 32 footer in the back for a few extra feet needed and could barely reach the edge with 6" to spare. But when you're young and stupid you do stupid things. Safety first when you realize what a dangerous profession it can be.
Would like to have seen how that sits on the roof? Also Ladder Max? I looked for it on eBay where did you purchase that? Is that the brand also? Thanks.

Yeah I can still handle the 40 ft. It's a challenge, but at 41 I'm still good with it.

Yeah it's now mind over muscles. Back in my 20s it was just muscle

Same process. I do have a video from last July doing that.

And? I move 40 ft ones the same way
