Very cool!!! Art supply addicts need love too 😉 I’ve trained all my family and friends that there’s no such thing as garbage cuz yeah…… arts and crafts 😉💕
Hello Tammy I am a newbie subscriber, and I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Debbie DeLaCerna and I love love love your creative wand! The magic is amazing! I'm located on the West side of our great country in Vallejo California! And wish I could attend a class! Keep up the inspiration you are my muse!
Tammy, the fount of art knowledge in your brain is just PHENOMENAL!!!! It's just AMAZING what you always have to teach us!!!! God bless you my dear! 💜💜💜💜
Tammy, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I really appreciate you trying, testing and experimenting for us all. Because this technique is definitely so much fun and so simple anyone can do it. The finger slide is so cool and the 3D effects this technique creates is just bananas!! Thanks to you Tammy I can stop trying to find laminated HDF, and put my many canvases to use and get to playing with paint and water😊
Amazing! To think you can get so many different looks from just one color is wild! Have to try! Thanks Tammy for taking the time to show all the ways your can use this method..you are the best!!❤️
I've done so many canvas paintings but have so many I don't know what to do with them all! I have them at a shop but no one is buying...so I've stopped making them for a while. I'm disappointed cause I LOVE doing these! I just don't have anywhere to put them anymore.
Great video Tammy!! Love those flowers,& so easy!! I tried using dishwasher safe mod podge on a canvas & it worked pretty good but not as good as using the wood. Thanks for sharing all the things you tried!! 🥰🤗
😍 you never cease to amaze me with your talent... even in your little pinky 😊 Such a great tutorial on how to make this technique work for everyone on multiple surfaces. 👏
Thank you for sharing this technique again. I tried it without a lot of luck because my gesso board was getting dry too quickly or maybe I played too long! Anyway I’ll be trying it again. Thanks Tammy! ❤
Thank you for showing this I was ones of the ones that was wondering if it could be done on canvas. After you showing us I too think the wood is the best thank you
His video #300 doesnt test it however he does tell how to use canvas. Its by prepping with latex paint. I also tried with Kilz2, which is used to prep canvas for alcohol inks. That worked as well. ❤
Girl, I use graphite too and I'd not have survived without this fixatif! I've had a can in my studio for 20 years. I hadn't thought of using it BEFORE on blank canvas. Good to know! Thanks for experimenting!
The amount of versatility is amazing! (I thought Bamboo stalk, too.) Coastal flooding - internet goes in and out. Only halfway through but I'll say Thank you now while I'm actually online. Appreciate everything you're doing to help us do this technique affordably. (Though, maybe a field trip to Spain could be a good tax write-off for us?) Thank you so much - and much love!
Watching your video I thought you might have missed that Djamel uses white glue in most of the colors. Maybe this helps to have the pattern be more distinct than with only water, especially on the resined canvas. Thank you for trying everything out this helps a lot.
Very interesting video. I would love to try some of these techniques, but I don't use resin for multiple reasons. Is there anything else that can be used instead, that would still give the same results? I have a lot of canvases. so spending more money on wooden panels is not possible at this time. I was kinda wondering if a thin layer of dried polyurethane would work on a canvas, to slick it up. Or maybe if the canvas was sprayed with something like Krylon gloss varnish. Trying to think of something other that resin.
Would glass and plexiglass work with the?I seem to have a problem doing it on plexiglass, but I think I have problem doing this technique.I see you make it so simple so I wonder what I am doing wrong if it isn't the surface?
Thanks for going through all these experiments, Tammy! I've been experimenting with alcohol inks lately, and I wanted to be able to use canvas with alcohol inks. I've watched a tutorial by Askari Art on how to prime your canvas for use with alcohol inks and it works. This process may work with Djamel's process also. Here is the link to his UA-cam demo: ua-cam.com/video/Dom6ir8P9E0/v-deo.html
I'm not a big fan of the crisscross weave texture or the 'bounce and sag' you get from a boxed canvas, which is a pain coz I have loads of them to use up! I much prefer a smooth, rigid surface whenever possible. But you can put a board or books under/behind the canvas to make it more firm when working on it. Had to do that a few times! A rigid, smooth, slick substrate def works best for the above technique. Nice!
So Tammy if ur using wood u don't need that spray tight? The videos I watched of his shows him just spraying water. But with canvas u have to use this fixall spray correct?
Love you too!😘 thank you Tammy for the I informative video. 😁😘
❤❤❤❤❤❤it. Beautiful Lady thank you. Blessings.

Brand new to your channel. Already love you for taking the time to explain everything you use and why. Thank you.
Watching your video I thought you might have missed that Djamel uses white glue in most of the colors. Maybe this helps to have the pattern be more distinct than with only water, especially on the resined canvas.
Thank you for trying everything out this helps a lot.
Thank you so much Tammy. You have definitely answered some questions for me.

You’ve helped and inspired me for years! Thanks for sharing your Hard work! You have beautiful Art!
That is amazing. Just using some paint and your finger at the end.
Great information. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Tammy
Bonjour. J aime beaucoup l art de Djamel. Je suis abonnée à sa chaîne. Ça a l air si simple mais en fait pas trop…..
This is cool, thank you.
You’re such a good educator. Thank you so much. Question: do you gesso the wood or do other prep? Love this video👏👏
Tammy, can you put down a low sheen paint instead of resin
🔥❤️
Tammy can you reuse a canvas. I have some paintings that I have not used, any finisher on and thought I could use this technique on them.
I love that fixable spray...whatever it's called lol. It's definitely 3d. I will be trying that
Very interesting video. I would love to try some of these techniques, but I don't use resin for multiple reasons. Cool
Nice. I wonder if you put a little white in the resin then coat the canvas, to get the Bamboo look. Since it looks like you need a white background.

Could you use gesso on a canvas ?
nice
Can you gesso the canvas? And can you use pebo from the tube then paint over it Tammy

So Tammy if ur using wood u don't need that spray tight? The videos I watched of his shows him just spraying water. But with canvas u have to use this fixall spray correct?
He did say the canvas has to be prepped and has a video if you can understand it.
