Oh Karen, so fabulous that you have commented on your episode. What was it like watching yourself almost ten years later? Most people say it's like watching someone else as they could now never imagine being how they were before therapy. Lovely to hear from you. x
omg I relate to her SO MUCH I cried watching it. anxiety ruined my life. I'm 27 and haven't had a job since I was 19 because of it and have lost all my friends and all but a few of my family. and like Karen, the longer I avoid the world the worse the panicking becomes. I wish I never avoided doing things and just pushed through in the first place. I've learnt that lesson the hard way. I only realised in the last year how I am doing the very thing to others I am so afraid of them doing to me (judging) by 'reading their minds' and not giving them a chance to show me that they aren't judgemental. This is helpful so thank you for uploading this. I'm making a push for a better life and starting university next year. I do want to point out it takes a LOT more work than going on one outing to overcome severe social anxiety, it's truly a beast.
yer its sad i do the same look at the floor and if i see anyone i know i dont make eye contact or go in a different direction so i dont have to interact with them
Hello there, I want to say I think you have something but sometimes you can seem a bit too judgmental may I ask what is the judgement for. I personally don’t think I would feel comfortable with being judged, and I think the same results could still be achieved without judgments.
Hi Eva. What a surprise. Years on and I am STILL Social anxiety FREE!!!. I have messaged you xx
