I have really been enjoying the whirlwind facet. I wouldn't recommend it if you are going to have to fight early, but if you are playing for more of a scaling build on Windranger, it feels really good to have this facet in mid to late game teamfights.
I think the other facet is actually better lategame, getting the CDR talent on 25 can be game changing whereas the +2 second Whirlwind is decent but not as crazy. Plus you need to buy damage to do stuff with Whirlwind where with Focus Fire it's more reasonable to buy Octrarine/Linkens kind of items as you already kill stuff. Midgame teamfights there is no contest though Whirlwind can pop off.
Depends on the enemy's heroes I think. It works really well this game because they're all squishy heroes with no armor. Against the tankier cores like CK, Sven, Ursa, maybe PA, I think it's horrible. They can heal faster than you deal damage.
I feel like we are missing some critical parts at the end here. First Wagas team got wiped and then it cuts to Lina and Venge being dead and the rest just chain feeding. :/
I like it personally, its just not something I usually get to pick, diff/disperser just feel right when you do it.. if you live. If they ever give her a third facet I hope they return global powershot, that thing was so fun if not the main reason you always lost...
it might be higher winrate but is it the same pickrate? Can't really compare both facets if one is played for 1000 games with 50 percent win rate (focus fire) and the other (whirl wind) is played for like 200 games only with 55% win rate
@@Karim-xs9hy Pros have also been picking it in most games that I've seen (e.g. I think all Falcons games with Windranger in the recent tournament they picked Whirlwind facet)
I have around 300 match as windranger with the facet patch. Focus fire is always better for mid imo, ganking type wr. Whirlwind is more of a safelane and teamfight facet. That is my experience with the facets. I mostly play mid wr and i pick FF more than whirlwind because its so shit on midlane.
Nah whirlwind is better as a mid WR cos you are going to the sidelanes to gank, which is where Whirlwind excels, small skirmishes. FF is only good if you are trying to solo kill the enemy mid but that doesnt happen at all at high mmr. On the contrary, FF is better for safe lane WR due to better scaling and more kill potential with a +1.
@@velvetstigma4961 well thats on you tho, the will be most of the times u are losing mid lane and cant even kill him with whirlwind. And when ur ganking side lanes sure u can get more value but the thing with whirlwind is just too much downside. Its easily cancellable, if ur going bkb and having silenced the whirlwind is literally stopped. There are so many interaction stopped the whirlwind completely, duration is very low. And u even with 2 target it still have downtime on each arrow max u can hit to enemy. That is just the fact whirlwind is worse than FF. where as FF u can solo mid, dive mid for rotation, u can rotate and kill the enemy core easily. With wr mid u dont need to kill all, u just need the more valuable kill.
@@velvetstigma4961 i have +- 150 games on each facet and i can tell whirlwind sure is strong at teamfights and late, but it snowball very slow comparing to normal FF as a mid.
and what about demolishing everyone in teamfights? of course its a tradeoff, im not arguing it does the same thing + something else. It just is stronger overall.

The current meta favors the whirlwind facet because its always team fight the whole game
To the chatter saying focus fire is better versus PL, look my dude, not all of us can even figure out which is the real one to click it on
11:53 It seems like a really good facet for shredding supports

This waga is such a "baller" getting messages from Nicholas cage and Arnold Schwarzenegger 😂
Ah, the go to ult of our favorite pos 5 Skillet.
been waiting for a time when wind was good. Still have the rainmaker bow from ti4 and the tshirt it came with. XD
Thanks for uploading the game with my goofy nick cage and Arnold donations 😂
Nice try Nick Cage. You're not fooling anyone.
The one game in history where Unwavering Condition is a good pick

They seem to have locked themselves out of a potential 3rd facet by making the 2 choices either ultimate.
07:22 You can farm ancient stacks with that

Whirlwind has a 41% pick rate so yeah they're both picked often enough for the win rate to be considered representative.
@@Colopty Cool, thanks 👌

Unrelated but I think Windranger's innate should've been called "Like The Wind" instead of "Easy Breezy"
Wind Ranger was my original signature hero, and Bubu was to blame for it. 😊🤭
Does his name mean he'll start buying more bkbs?
In Flames t-shirt? Niiiice

I always believed in this facet.
whirlwind is better in every scenario!
This facet only became better cos they removed the 15% Tailwind facet, which was vastly superior.
The reason why whirlwind is the better facet(typically) is that it is much less countered by blade mail.
Is it 4 plates each side, or 4 plates total?
4 players each side
is this overwatch? waga a reaper main?
👍
says this facet is better but missed out on multiple kills with he had the other

god I want that persona so bad
damn, windranger makes really orgasmic sound when she takes damage
Ayo 🤨📸
This guy sucks at throwing dagger using ringmaster. But boy does he aced his skillshots using windranger.
