Britney, McCuly and probably a bunch of other child stars. I work with a young girl who’s mom takes her money she earns. Her mom gives her part of her own money like it’s an allowance and uses the rest to pay rent and bills. It’s infuriating to say the least.
@Jesse i disagree and you are missing the point. If Britney had good parents, Britney wouldn't had been the Britney you think you know now. She would have been in a better state, much more stable, less traumatised and she would had been loved and protected by good parents.
Her parents did a great job & continue to. They show her the real life & ground her to reality unlike many celebrities who never face reality in any type of that way
Her parents are real ones. They just think like this: “We brought you to this world, unless we are gone, we’ll take responsibility about you” that’s what you call a father & mother heart.
Letting their underage daughter fake sex and kiss Hollywood pedo actors for a living on TV, yep, those are "real ones". That's how these sick kids end up getting trafficked.
Because your dad was a proud man. Who didn't want to take what he didn't earn. Respect to your parents. Your money was your money. They didn't want to take advantage of there daughter. Because of there love for you and there pride. God bless your parents.
her parents love her so much that they understand it was them that brought her into this world, and they are to support her dreams, watch her fluorish and thrive, and feel proud of her every step of the way. The best “pay back” they could ever receive is to see their daughter healthy, happy, and thriving. No money can buy that kind of love, joy, and happiness to a parent. Their heart must be so full having Mila as a daughter. 👏👏
It’s such a beautiful story…I’m sorry happy for her and my heart breaks for too many celebrity kids and how they use their children in so many ways. They want money from them, they want them to have the fame that they never had. I always loved Mila and I’m so happy she has loving and supportive parents that never exploited her. I honestly hope at some point they will allow her to treat them to dinner and gifts. They deserve it, good people deserve good things, especially good parents. There aren’t enough good parents today.
This is the type of parent I hope to be if I decide to ever have kids. I understand her frustration though, not being able to treat them at all could be tough but the parents must have thought, the not taking advantage of their daughter's money is worth the frustration she might feel.
This is how parents should be, not expect to live off their children. This has been a huge problem in my marriage since my mother in law expects us basically to hand over any spare dollar. She expects my husband to build her a home. We're not rich, my husband makes only 30 k per year.. We're halfway through building our home and will probably be done in some 3 more years.

Daniel Radcliffe too, he says they always checked on him every year too see if acting was genuinely what he wanted to continue doing. 💕 Those kinds of parents are the difference between being THERE for and supportive of your child, vs being controlled and lived through vicariously by the parent.
I wonder if this has something to do with the culture. My family is Chinese American and even when I am earning almost half a million a year my parents refuse to accept any gift over $100.

Britney, McCuly and probably a bunch of other child stars. I work with a young girl who’s mom takes her money she earns. Her mom gives her part of her own money like it’s an allowance and uses the rest to pay rent and bills. It’s infuriating to say the least.

her parents love her so much that they understand it was them that brought her into this world, and they are to support her dreams, watch her fluorish and thrive, and feel proud of her every step of the way.
Well said
This is the type of parent I hope to be if I decide to ever have kids.
