I'm pretty sure beating your opponent with a Lightning Bolt to the dome in game one and an Ancestral Recall to the dome in game two was *actually* Magic as Richard Garfield intended.

He always passes upheaval, but I find upheaval + brain freeze and a whole board of moxen is pretty nice win con

If anything these feel like rogue like runs where you pray for good luck to become busted

It would be interesting if they just removed those cards from the cube, otherwise you'd lose against the same kind of deck over and over again. The idea of drafting 2 from each pack could be more fun if more decks would be viable.
@@davio14 The funny thing is that this kind of format only exists to give us a "vintage fantasy" experience of playing with the most powerful Magic cards but without Shops and Dredge to spoil the fun. Basically just a pile of powerful cards without an obvious wincon, because outrageous topdecks are part of the fun.

I feel the Supreme cube needs more instant win conditions.

I'm so confused. Did Luis miss they mulled to 5 in game 1? He could have just Mindtwisted them into nothing.
They need to get rid of the combo cards like brain freeze and displaced kitten and it would be a super interesting format
Cubing this way makes 80 % of the cube useless and deckbuilding comes down to goodstuff decks, with half of the deck already build because of luck.
Fun to see for once, but this is not for me.
Hope to see more team drafts or regular drafts, which have a lot more strategy and dynamics and, more importantly, less luck involved.
You know this format is cursed when LSV fires off PO over 4thE and doesn't even mention the latter.

These drafts are fun to watch but honestly this format would probably be a lot more interesting without power.
A legacy supreme draft sounds awesome, agreed.

Fun format where a majority of the cube isn't viable. Talk about boring.
Handicap yourself a little. Mono green or WG, etc. These are too easy for you.
FWIW, I'd prefer the previous Vintage Cube videos to more of this. I'm not enjoying these at all. Though obviously, if I'm in the minority and/or you're just having fun, then you do you.
Not a fan of this format personally, 70-80% of cards are just unplayable since blue is just busted
This seems like it's a little weak compared to other supreme decks you've drafted. How unlucky....
Please nerf blue and remove counter-magic from the game.
