I have visited Vietnam very recently. It's a beautiful country. Ba Na Hills should not be skipped at all, it's worth single penny you pay for the experience. You get to see the French village, castles, experience various rides and games, etc. It's incredible to see how wonderfully everything is constructed on that hill, it's a whole big city that is settled up there. Kudos to the team.
I have read Vietnam as a student of South East Asian Studies 1971-1973. It is nostalgic for me. Your description of Ba Na hill and French legacies are very nice. Thank you.

Hi Visha ! Just wanted to say that your videos were reallllyyyyyyyy helpful in making a budget and trip itenary for my Visit to Vietnam in Feb '23! It was a gorgeous country and great food for the non-vegetarians. I did Ho Chi Minh first and Hanoi 2nd. I strongly recommend doing the Halong Bay cruise ,it was my favourite place and its really like being in a different world! Also, the weekend(fri,sat,sun) night market in Hanoi, Old Quarter is a great place to buy literally everything form clothes to shoes to branded accessories and souvenirs at really cheap prices! Thanks again and looking forward to joining in on more of your adventures !

To all those who are planning to visit Vietnam, it's better to visit the country from South to North so that places will be more beautiful in North compared to South.
Do we require International driving permit to rent scooter? Also do we have to show hotel accomodation since I am planning for a minimum 3 weeks stay
@@roninr8199 As per rules, even if you have international driving licence, we need to take Vietnamese licence to travel but most of the tourists travel without any international licence itself. Also coming to hotel accommodation,it depends upon the immigration officer, better to book zero cancellation fee hotels prior to travel.
@@anjuripavansaikumar8756 so better to avoid scooters? Same thing was told in bali and after I read about corrupt police i did not ride at all.

For family trip, staying in hotels, the cost will be around 60-65k (lower end minimum) for 10days depending on 3star accomodation. Also Sapa should be there in your itinerary.

Feel like this info needs to be added for all the folks who are planning a trip to Vietnam now. The tickets will not cost you 23k. It will minimum cost you 36k.
Flights from Kolkata to Hanoi or Ho Chin Him cost you 11-12k and unless you are in Kolkata, a flight to Kolkata will also cost you money so there is that. If you can do a travel in just 7 kgs luggage then sure, i think you can make it work with 23k tickets or else not happening.

Hi! Please share attractions/activities cost also such as Ninb Binh tour, Mekong Delta, Chu Chi tunnels, Halong Bay, City day tours etc.
Cheapest flight option is of no use. Whichever cheapest flight you choose there will be no free checked in baggage. Only hand bag is allowed. So when you are going abroad obviously you will take a trolley. And this will incur extra 3000 minimum. So flight are no at all cheap. Normally it will go above 10k one way

20k for flights is from Major cities, so if you live in Nagpur for example, you need to travel Kolkata or Mumbai or Ahmedabad or Chennai for these flights that means total flight cost could go till 27k-28k... realistic

If you really want to enjoy vietnam tour with a lot of peace of mind then book your tour with a tour agency.Really its amazing.But it is costly. But if you want HOUCH POUCH andBHAGAM BHAG in the name of vietnam tour than you can plan your self. Really its cheaper.

If you are going to visit any country it's better to have a longer stay because the flight tickets will cost you around 50% of the total expenditure... Atleast 3 weeks or whole month... And if you travel say from Thailand to Vietnam and from Vietnam to Malaysia to Singapore to Indonesia to the Philippines and so on the flight tickets will be way cheaper.. From India to Vietnam it will be around Rs 10000 but from Thailand to Vietnam it will be around ₹4000 and from Vietnam to Malaysia it will be around ₹3000 but if you travel from India to Malaysia it will be atleast ₹10000 again.. So better to plan a long trip and travel the whole world 👍👍😁

What you said were not correct, Vietnam is located near Southeast Asia countries but Vietnam is East Asian culture, you won't find any similarity between two countries, in term of foods, culture, people attitude, our culture is more close to China, Korea, Japan , you take wrong information.

Hey Visha, Can you please tell me if there are good money changers available at Ninh Binh, Hoi An, Danang, Phu quoc? Do we get good USD to VND exchange rates locally? How to locate places/offices/shops of money changers? Do hotels give good exchange rates?
