I’m pretty sure the new scent includes lavender which is a scent most bugs don’t like including spiders and can actually be used as a natural bug replant. (I wouldn’t test it in the deep woods tho, maybe just outside)

Apparently it won’t attract spiders because the 2 ingredients that do attract them have to mixed at the perfect amounts to do it. It also only attracts male wolf spiders so it is unlikely that it would attract them.
Spiders actually get rid of so many other bugs that can harm you’re home, and those tiny spiders aren’t harmful at all so you can just let it be and it will take care of it’s business and you will have a clean home 👍

You probably have a lot of light going through the winders, also humidity. The spiders call ants to get stuck in their webs. So I would invest in bigger, longer curtains. Once you cover it and clean areas they hide, it'll reduce the amount. Also humidity can be reduced if your air conditioning unit has a dehumidifier.
The camera might deter the spider cbf going into it but it’s a variable to consider, it’s to do with the light rays and their eyes from the focus of the camera, so Jury’s not out

Hi, spiders don’t have a nose, they smell through their feet so unless a spider was already sitting on your lap it’s not possible for them to be attracted to the smell.
It doesn't attract all spiders, only wolf spiders, and I think that spider you took outside was a form of jumping spider. I believe they are attracted to different pheromones. If I am incorrect someone with an arachnology degree please correct me.
They do use a type of pheromone that is similar to orb weaving spiders pheromones but it’s not the same and there is no way it would attract wolf spiders who do not spin webs. It’s great marketing tho

So the body buttter give of a female scent and then the male spiders get attracted to it and then yea it’s only the body butter in the knew on and it bc these to chemicals were mixed together hope this helps😊

I use tea tree oil to line the windows and doorways to prevent spiders
