Good idea! We were able to get our hands on both shafts at the location where we bought the SK Composite Pro shaft and the differences are night and day. The SK shaft fits in your hand really nice and the Dragonfly is simply triangular shaped. Although the triangle shaft does feel quite nice, the SK shaft seems to be the better of the two because of the comfort and possible increase in torque with the "lever" feature.
I actually used the sceptre7 during my varsity days in highschool, it drives under the opponents sidewalk and does a mean plunger or pinch and pop. If you’re a speed guy I highly recommend it.
We saw this at LaxCon and the engineers were nice enough to walk our little fogo through the design. He thought it looked goofy then he dropped down and started taking clamps. He popped up and asked me to buy it. Thing is lethal.

It most likely will. Any time you drill a hole near a preexisting hole will cause them to overlap and lose functionality. Be aware that extra drilling might void warranty. If the holes don't line up and you're stilling wanting to put screws in it, you should leave the head on the shaft permanently to avoid making the holes bigger from constantly pulling and putting the screws back into the shaft. Once you put the screws in, they're in.

Not to spread FAKE NEWS, but it has been brought to our attention years back that the "power nub" is illegal. We've used it on our shafts prior to the announcement and it was absolutely awesome. Just unfortunate that we can't use it.
Our son has both of them. The Epoch has a narrower grip by the throat to get more of your hand on the shaft. The Stringking has basically a lever. Only drawback our son sees is that he doesn't think he could do much in a standing neutral grip with it.

Also agree with your last point about standing neutral, can't really feel any sort of possible advantage when using the SK Composite pro over a normal shaft when using neutral grip. It'd be one funky looking shaft if it was meant for both grips!
The ridge on the shaft is supposed to be in your fingertips, so I believe you’re holding it wrong. The ridge should go right in between the top and middle pads of your fingers.

There's a pretty drastic difference between the two. The SK Composite Pro really sits in your hand nicely and you can pretty much feel the "added leverage". The Dragonfly feels nice too, but you don't really feel the extra leverage like you do with the SK Composite Pro.

So, what’s the verdict? Son uses Metal 2 135 grams with Mark 2F. Is a FOSO so doesn’t run off after FO. Works well for him at this point.

Epoch has a face off specific dragonfly 9 too
Our son has both of them. The Epoch has a narrower grip by the throat to get more of your hand on the shaft. The Stringking has basically a lever. Only drawback our son sees is that he doesn't think he could do much in a standing neutral grip with it.
