23/2/24 ( Friday ) 12.57 am. Good morning/night, Genre. Haircut in 1920's in a rich man's house in USA ? Not a bad idea. At least its not in a conventional hairdresser salon, but the storyline was a bit stretched. A well dressed lady visited a new rich neighbour to cut her hair for the night's party arranged by Mr Gatsby. Except that the well dressed lady seemed to make use of the rich man's naive wife to practice her hairdresser skills. Also, by now, you should have heard from other viewers that there was no television before the Great Depression. A glaring mistake in a well crafted ASMR. Never mind. Just do a better research next time. Genre fighting ! Sleep well and have sweet dreams to Genre, me and all viewers.
There was no television in the 1920s. They only had radios. In the 1930s they started making them but they weren't popular till the 1940-50s. And everyone thought "television is juat a fad" the as boomers beleced the internet and computers werw just a fad.
The scissors fighting against all of the hair at once and the brush ripping through the knots 😭 I’ll just close my eyes. The video is still fun but it would be more relaxing if she watched a quick tutorial first so it would’ve gone more smoothly for her. I wanted to jump in and help!
I like it, but i think you should look up some period appropriate vernacular bc "that's soo cool" "girl welcome to the *name*" "are you like excited" These phrasing and language/vocab choice are very modern language and phrasing that wasnt used in the 1920s and it gives sorority girl putting on a great Gatsby themed party. Which is not a bad thing, but it takes me out of suspending disbelief that this is a 1920s experience so much as expecting a dude wearing a toga to come in drunk and scream something silly. Ig i would like it more if you either leaned into the college vibe or researched and practiced speech in 1920s highbrow/wealthy ppl vernacular. Other than that constructive criticism, i love your content and i can't wait to see how you grow as an artist over time. Keep it up, you're talented asf.❤

Yeah TV was invented in 27 but wasn't at the world's fair and publicly available until 39. So even the rich wouldn't have had TV in the 20s
