This stuff is great. I was so happy that they gave it the same treatment as they did Black Orchid Parfum. What I mean by that is that they did it justice. They made it deeper, a touch darker and built upon what was already there without losing itself. Performance is great across the board and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Those who dislike it I don’t think are giving it a chance and just may not be into the more complex fragrances. If you don’t like things that are the least bit challenging then perhaps it’s not for you. I wouldn’t consider it challenging at all but I can see how it may appear that way to others. Ashton as always, great video.
Personally I don’t like the new parfum for Black Orchid, it doesn’t jump off my skin as much as the original and it smells too dense

I just received my travel-sized sprayer from FragranceNet’s Purple Luxe subscription. I’m not hired by them, but this holiday season they’re taking $10 off, so I got this 8ML for $16!!!
It smells great, if you’re already a fan of the EDT. That cardamom in the intro is fantastic! I still wouldn’t purchase a full bottle due to its hefty price tag, So a sample for under $20 will suffice 😉

Awesome as always Ash. I’m yet to own a Tom Ford fragrance. I’m jealous of all the niche online stores you guys in the US have! Seems like here in the UK there’s not so many.
I love it even more than the Noir Extreme and I asked 3 girls their opinion and they loved it, especially the opening the spices were very nice to them.

I wonder if since cancelling TF for men Extreme, they opted to start adding the on-hand stock of the truffle note to TFNE to make this flanker a smokier, richer version of TFNE.
Thanks for the information. I know there’s a lot of positive and negative opinions out there. To be honest Tom ford parfum fragrances aren’t that bad when it comes to prices. There’s a lot of niche fragrances out there that cost More than Tom ford. I liked Tom ford due to longevity and oil concentrations are bit higher and price point aren’t really super high.
If you're looking for a stronger edp, sadly the parfum ain't it. It barely lasts and projects, no noticeable improvement in that department on the edp. For the prices they charge, they should be ashamed of themselves.
Must just be your skin. The parfum is massive and it lasted til the next day until I showered

I agree 100 % on the opening being a battle ground to see what pushes and settles. At one point I got a nyquil scent out of it. After it dried down though, it blended well and that DNA started to pop yet leaving a hint of leather and creaminess. It is definitely oiler than the edp but more balanced. Longevity and projection lack some. The edp is sweeter I feel and gets noticed and projects, but like I said this sits closer and is well balanced. It will pull questions by people around you. They'll recognize it partially but be curious enough to ask. Price point blows though and put a dent in my wallet for the 50ml.

I blind bought it and regretted it. It’s last for a long time I’m just not a fan of the dna. If the notes are something you like it will last all day

I LOVED the original Tom Ford Noir (now discontinued) was extremely disappointed in the Noir Extreme... just blind bought the Noir Extreme Parfum and have my fingers crossed hoping for the best!!

I just bought a bottle of TF Noir EDP this very morning, January 2023. The shop had a dozen bottles, and they didn't seem to think it has been discontinued.
How did you like it?
Literally just came from Nordstrom w/ a spray on my arm enjoying it!
I just tested this for the irst time and like it much more than the EDP which is too sweet for me. This one balances things out very nicely with the bottom notes, especially the leather and the Guaiacwood. A bifg winner in my opinion but too expensive at the moment.
I guess Beau de jour Parfum is next?

I'm looking for something similar to Tom Ford Noir. Not a dupe or a clone but other options that have a similar vibe.
I tried this one today, positive aspect: smells awesome to me and my wife loves as well. Negative aspect: longevity is very weak for a parfum concentration at least in my skin and for the price..
Designer parfum isnt parfum lol. They can put 15% and still calll it a parfum.
Savauge elixir is an exception to this

I prefer the OG. It is sweeter and in the opening more pleasant. I'm not too happy with the longevity and projection of the new one for the price and concentration.

This price aren’t bad compared to ROJA Dove line. ROJA cologne start outs $315. Parfum version. $485. Tom ford price aren’t bad for luxury and long lasting parfum.

I like the idea of this not being as sweet as the original Noir Extreme. I own Noir Extreme, and while I do love it, the sweetness of the fragrance gets annoying after a couple of hours.

Ombre Leather parfum is amazing! Fresher more summer appropriate version compared to the original

nah they raise the prices 100s of dollars because they can, and people will still buy it. Fragrances are not a designer's bread and butter. If it sells or doesn't sell doesn't matter much because "tom ford" doesn't really care anyways. Inflation sounds like a great excuse right now...

The difference is more vanilla and some Smokey leather. At the price I would say you don’t need it if you have the EDP. Try it at an Ulta or Sephora. Sephora has an exclusive discount for some reason also.

TF is a house that’s quite divisive most of the time. Then again, I’ve always loved their unique styles I’m just disappointed they got rid of the Private line bottles

I remember when I first tried the original Noir Extreme in a store I fell in love with it, then I got a decant and started to wear it more and I realised I really didn't like it. It was too sweet and cloying.
Well since trying the Parfum I realise this is what I wanted from the original. It's darkness removes some of the more sweet and cloying aspects of the original, and to me makes it so much more wearable. I was a little unsure about the opening at first but now I love it.
I'm not sure why we're still classifying Tom Ford as a "designer" fragrance. Yes, he's a designer, but the fragrances are certainly niche products. Awesome review as always! I love Tom Ford Noir Extreme. Can't wait to try this one.

@@DrRDW Jo Malone has the worst performance i‘ve seen so far. Got the Oud&Bergamont, smells amazing but only for like 20 min. Max! I always took the bottle with me and refreshed every 30 min. 100ml lasted not even a month
It's kind of both for me. I understand due to it being a designer house, therefore they don't have the niche tag as they aren't a fragrance dedicated company. I would say the scents I own are 100% up there with the niche houses. Then again I only own TF Ombre Leather, Tuscan Leather, Noir Extreme, and Oud Wood. I will be going to Sephora today to see if I love this one, if so will have to get the 100ml.
I'd argue that the signature line should be viewed as a designer while the private blend line as a niche .... This one is signature line hence the shock at the price. I don't think anyone evaluates tobacco vanille or oud wood as expensive but rather as regular niche price.

All you’re paying for is the Tom Ford name, and that goes for most any other brand. Packaging rarely factors into the price.

This is really for those TF enthusiasts, you are not gonna go get this as a blind buy and no way any one is buying this if they only have 2 other perfume bottles back home. I've had and used this since September and I've literally made some people choke 🤣🤣🤣
This was a money grab by TF. The original extreme EDP is better all around. The price is a slap in the face as well.

If you have the edp version, stick with that if you're looking for performance and projection. If you want diverse and darker, give it a try but get a decant to see your thoughts first.
I keep seeing people say they bought it for $230. I'm not sure why but I bought mine from Sephora for $205. I know that's not a huge difference but I didn't need a code and I didn't see a promo or anything like that. So I was under the impression that 205 was the price. So hearing 230 is a little bit of a surprise. As far as the smell though... man I really like it! I think the perfumer Sonia Constant deserves a lot of credit.
Sephora has exclusive pricing it’s $230 everywhere else including the Tom Ford website. Sephora also launched it a day earlier than every other shop.
