FURTHER INFORMATION
Here is a boat for the traditional enthusiast, Apache No.60 is a stunning 70′ trad built by the renowned Norton Canes in 2006 and powered by an equally sought after and admired Gardner 2LW. At the stern of the cabin is a glorious Boatmans cabin. This was fitted by Norton Canes and is in excellent condition, complete with all the clever storage that is usual to Boatmans cabins it is also fitted with the customary ‘Epping’ stove. This leads through into the traditional engine room housing the vintage Gardner 2LW. Adding to the traditional look, the engine room also features bulkhead lights and a stainless steel, fold-down sink believed to be salvaged from a submarine.
Moving forward from the engine room into the main cabin section takes you into the bedroom. Here the fit out by the original owner begins, the joinery is of an excellent standard as can be seen by the curved, solid units and the materials used show the aim was for a quality finish. In the bedroom, the berth is of the ‘cross double’ type allowing for a larger bed while minimising use of cabin length. Plenty of storage can be found in the floor to ceiling wardrobes.
Heading forward you come to the off-corridor bathroom, complete with Thetford Swivel cassette toilet, handbasin with storage under, wall mounted mirrored cabinet and shower.
At the front of the cabin is an open saloon leading to a forward galley. The saloon is spacious enough for freestanding furniture, currently this includes a bed settee. The focal point being a curved corner unit housing an enamelled solid fuel stove, TV and storage.
The galley has a country cottage feel with oak worktops and doors and a teal colour finish. The galley offers plenty of worktop area as well as storage including high level cupboards. There is a huge amount of storage under the tug style deck and this area also houses the washing machine. This then leads out onto the front deck, access being made easy by the built in steps and hinged deck board.
Apache is now onsite at Wincham Wharf, please call or email for more information or to arrange a viewing.
