Great points on Roethlisberger - is that because he played at home? Mahomes already in ‘best in NFL’ conversation? Love the talk on Tyreek Hill being uncoverable. You could see Lefkoe get physically uncomfortable with the idea that anyone could play better than Odell Beckham. Eli’s O-line has got him running for his life.
Was there really a big difference between them and the Bills? Blaming Eli for throwing to Saquon doesn’t seem right. Saquon isn’t getting any running yards - who’s fault is that? Why does Josh Allen get mentioned before Josh Rosen? Lol at Any Given Sunday reference. Had the exact same thoughts about reaction to AB’s behaviour vs. Odell and other players…remember Jalen Ramsey got a lot of heat for threatening a reporter in the offseason.
Deshaun Watson analysis - spot on. Will the same happen for Wentz? Liking the love for Harold Landry!
Last thought, keep the swearing, it’s clearly Simms being himself and that’s the best thing about this podcast. Unsanitised and real, like with the leopard story at the end. Brilliant.
The "completely new " offense Bill O'Brien implemented is actually the exact same offense he was running before they drafted Deshaun
That over complicated offense where we had players that didn't know where to line up and it hasn't changed we had plays where guys on our team didn't know where they had to lineup.
We need to get a new coach or at least an offensive coordinator that doesn't over complicate and offense.
I'm freaking terrifed for Deshaun Watson that offensive line is horrible I hope the Texans don't ruin him the guy is one of the most talented QBs to come out of the draft in a long time.

Chris: I have really grown to enjoy your insight, I enjoy the way you present your views on football, even if you drop the f bomb a bit more than I would prefer :) I really feel like I learn more about football just by listening to you, which is the biggest compliment I can give a football podcast. No one else does what you do. But, yes here is the but, and I say the following with all do respect: man lets keep the politics out of the show. I don't care if you are left, right, libertarian, communist etc but going off on hunting at the end doesn't help. I've hear you guys brag about the steaks you eat, but somehow a hunter is a POS? Is a deer/elk more sacred than a cow? Is a cow's life less valuable? It comes across as hypocritical and naive. I think you would be the first to say that you don't understand how to manage wildlife. We can debate whether or not big cats should be hunted, and I'm not going to take a strong view on that, but you came off as VERY anti hunting with your remarks. If you are just anti big cat hunting hey fine, but still leave that junk off the air and post it elsewhere. Before you make such rash statements I suggest you educate yourself, which you obviously do in MANY areas, you are a smart guy but don't know much about that particular subject. I'm not attempting to troll you, this is meant as constructive criticism. You are a celebrity, and thus probably have the ability to get in contact with just about anyone, so if you actually want to educate yourself in this area get a hold of Joe Rogan, or better yet Steve Rinella. You will be able to have intelligent conversations with either of them and I'm not saying you will be pro hunting after talking to them, but I think you will be surprised about how much of the picture you are missing.

Any conversation about the Pats/Jags game that doesn't start with "The temperature on the field at kick off was 97 degrees." is missing the major point. The hottest game in the NFL since 2003 (in Phoenix I believe). The NFL said the heat index was 107. As someone who has lived in New Hampshire and Tucson Arizona I can tell you... your physiology literally changes when you live in the different extremes.

ya he didnt make key 3rd down runs that extended the series or anything like that. He doesnt have throw the ball accurately to his receivers to make a catch. Bortles does nothing obviously.
Tyreek is in AB's league, plus the 2nd best TE in NFL plus Hunt is no joke. Watkins is like the 4th best on the team plus Mahomes is no joke.

All the football stuff is great. But there at the end is just pathetic on Simms' part. You really ought to educate yourself at least a little bit before you get yourself that upset. Those people that go and hunt animals do that at an enormous monetary cost. Money that in turn goes to conservation of those animals. Otherwise those same people that are paid to be guides for these hunts and the people protecting the sanctuaries from pouchers turn around and become the poachers themselves.
