A nice sojurn Mr Smoothie Dan ..lol. Good to see you out with Mrs CLB again she will not feel left out. Quite a pretty area this was especially the redwoods. Thanks mate for letting us tag along. Bushyboy Oz.
😀 another enjoyable video guys, looked like a nice day out 👍 I do like a cook up in the middle of nowhere! Quick question - as Mrs CLB becomes more of a regular, (big fan btw 😂) no offence Dan 😳 have you considered reserving the 'CampWifeBushcraft' channel? Thought it could be a nice, collaborative option for the future 😂 keep up the entertaining content guys 😀👍
Dan, almost missed this video.I thought I had seen it,but I didn't remember your wife wearing that hat lol!..pretty cute.So now it must be real hot there,it is here ...90s almost every day now with high humidity 😑. Nice video as always..take care and try to stay cool 😎
yeah its been pretty warm, it was up to 104f a couple of weeks ago but its cooled to a comfortable 70-80f the last week or so. thanks for watching mate, glad you enjoyed it : )
Bizarre cabin looks a bit like an old hide for bird 🐦 watching. Enjoyed your video. Nice to see Mrs clb fully recovered. Thank you for sharing. Take care.
Awesome for you two, there is nothing more in life than spending time with each other I’d rather have time with love ones and friends enjoying nature than I would any amount of money or bling items. Life is at its best when you enjoy it with people you love
I found that a lot of the ‘secret ponds’ on the opposite side of the A325 from your town (🤫🤐) were poorly maintained, so they had been made shallow by decades of falling leaf-litter, twigs and branches. You’re a regular part-time explorer. Good job you’re not TA Outdoors, you’d have to fish all these old carp ponds you find! Glad to see Carly out, hope she’s over the COVID. Very chilled vibe with this one, music was a good match. Whether by accident or design, the footage to music match as Carly was approaching you (after stepping down off the style) was all romantic, y’old smoothie! You’re all luvved-up😊. Never underestimate happiness. 😎👍.
yes we were over that side of the road. there are several former quarries but they have double fences and most of the worlds supply of keep out signs on them. these ponds we were at were a bit further north from my place and I had hoped they would be suitable, and they will once the nettles die back and we can get to the edge. Carly is fighting fit again I'm happy to report. I did kind of make this video as a bit of a love letter to her, hence the romantic slo mo ; )
Nicely done Dan and Mrs👍 Always enjoy your couples get away videos, smiles and fun throughout. Trangia, an amazing bit of gear really, my 27 is a workhorse although smaller than your 25, love it. Wagyu burgers, tasty devils aren't they.. Wonderful day out and about, thanks for the video. Enjoy!
Lovely vid, lovely couple. Love the church, I see some beautiful old churches out on the road around the south , shame no swimming 🏊. Stay safe mate 🇬🇧👍🇬🇧👍
A new subscriber here from the Philadelphia Suburbs USA. My wife and I have been enjoying your videos now for a couple months! I’m a fellow bass player and we have a 15 month old Boxer. Our third! We camp with tent/ Triumph motorcycle and we have a travel trailer( caravan to you guy’s right?) . We have been watching a lot of videos leading to our week trip to the state of Maine. Thank you for sharing and please let me know how I can donate to your channel. Keep them coming. Cheers
Hey Mark, thanks for subscribing, really appreciate it. my bass is retired under my bed unfortunately.. too many things going on in life for it these days, but I haven't the heart to sell it. what's you Boxers name? Thanks for your generous offer, if you want to donate to the channel I'd be most grateful. you can usually find my by me a coffee link in the video description (when I remember to add it) or you can use the new supper like button which is just along from the thumbs up button on every video. Thanks again for your support. Videos usually get uploaded on a Friday evening. All the best Dan
Hey Dan, thanks for getting back! Our Boxer’s name is Toro. He’s quite the lovable handful if you know what I mean, being a fellow Boxer owner. Life may be busy for your bass but your doing a really great thing with your channel. Your videography and choice of music have the same passion and dedication that we have with music. You give a shit. Thanks again for your kindness man. Safe travels Dan May the floor of your tent only get wet if you spill a beer in it! Mark and Martha
Such a lovely place and a pretty church. Shame about the lack of swim but it looks like lunch made up for it. Put maccy ds to shame!😂 Always good to see you two out and glad you're feeling better Carly. Love the tree hugging 😁💖😁xx
Love the video, love the work, love the company, really good entertainment as always Dan. By the way, it's a hay meadow Bro ! Keep it coming big thumbs up bud, Best regards to Mrs CLB and best wish to all in the house of Mr CLB. I hope you weren't to hassled by the fire earlier this week. Regards Moose
Good to see Carly feeling better. Dan could that structure have been a green house at one time? I say that because there would have been glass on the roof and on the side. Just a guess. Good to see you both having a grand time. Take care.
Thanks Viv, no it was a bird watching Hyde. I spoke with a local farmer later on and he told me his dad built it in the 1960's for bird watching. it's in good condition for its age!
G'day Dan, Carly, that's what I call a great day out folks. Plenty of eurasian coots here + white and black swans too, I can watch 'em for hours. Lovely landscape, lucky you dont' have the sketchy snakes over there and you can frolic the fields without concern. Btw; just out of curiosity, do you have ticks over there ? Incidentally; any idea where the UK take on the word "twat" originated from ? It's pronounced slightly differently here; you may have come across it in your travels Dan, if not, in comparison, it means something ....... a bit more extreme. ; ) Cheers Duke. P.S. shame about the wild swim, hope you still had a wild swim @ home with your O-balls to light things up.
Thanks Duke, yeah it was a good day out. its one of the things I appreciated after my time in your country, just being able to lay in the grass without the risk of a nasty bite. we do have ticks over here and they are probably the nasties in nature for us as they carry limes disease which can be awful. (probably too much info but when I come back from a trip I usually star fish on the bed naked and get Carly to check me over) the word you mentioned is a slang word for a ladies genitals which here is not quite as bad as the C word, a little more acceptable, but I'm not sure its origins, I heard years ago it was to do with fish or goldfish but I may be misremembering. hope you're well mate. Dan
@@CampLifeBushcraft Yep lymes is no good at all and well worth doing the starfish. I believe you need DEET of @ least 40 % to ward them off. Thankfully not a big concern where I am down south, much more of an issue along the east coast. Lovely area for a hike, did you ever find out what the 'Disney' tower was? Sadly the bird-hide on our estate is the beginning to look like that one, damned shame really.
I looked it up on the map and as far as I can tell its a private residence. its a huge house with grounds and it has that one tower at one end. (a little OTT really)
The main thing with Wagyu beef is that it contains a lot of fat (marbling). Wagyu cattle have it because they live a very easy life. The fat interspersed in the meat fibers means that when it is cooked there is a lot of moisture, so the meat isn't dry.
Those very old graves, haven't fallen mate they get removed, you only rent a grave spot technically. But the stones are normally kept on site as a mark of respect.

just a private residence as far as I can tell looking at the map. a bit of a large private residence.. maybe more money than sense?!
