  • This game had some awesome music. Probably some of the best music I heard from the short period of time that I owned a NES. If there was one piece of music that stood out for me, it was this one, Dr. Wily's Castle.
    Imagine if the NES's sound channels had the capabilities of the Commodore 64's SID chip. Maybe it would've sounded like this.

    So you actually used only c64 sounds? Awesome! I wish composers could have had 5 channels back then. This sounds very good 🔥🔥🔥

      Yeah dual SID with a bit of post processing. The SID nearly got more than three channels but money and time constraints meant that its designer, Bob Yannes, had to compromise and just do the three.
