- Day 4. Somehow Christof and I managed to rendezvous in the small town of Zinal. Together we set out on another great day in the Swiss alps traveling from Zinal to St. Niklaus. My only hope is that things will be just hard enough for Christof to make him believe in my description of the previous 3 days.

I hate to say it, but I love tired Danny. That’s when the comedy gold runs thick
Drew Watts hahaha agreed!
How is it that unboxing an iphone video can get millions of hits and this channel does not.......I showed this to my wifes 95 year old grandfather and he loved it ! Keep up the great work guys.
Yeahhhh! Love it!
I need to get back out there!
Who else needs more Alp in their life!?!
Me Me Me Please
I really like how you manage to keep a decent focus on good audio! Even rolling the footage into the melody at times. You're starting to blow up now Danny, and it's well deserved.
Brings back great memories of my trips to the Swiss Alps. Thank you!
Fritz D same here!
Tired of waiting for the 5th episode, so just watched the first four again.
Absolutely love these videos! All of them. Constantly looking forward to the next one!
Mike Townsend they are so incredible
Friggun Ditto!
Very beautiful pictures of the nice shot from here in New Mexico. I really like the fine pictures for today in Europe.
Just got back from tour du mont blanc. Fresh Memories...next Haute! Love your sufferings Danny!
Energized Christof, somber Danny, Swiss Alps, cruiser day and "sausage fest"...this video has it all gentlemen.
CampfireTalk 😆
After watching this 5 part series, I want to see "the gang" do the Haute Route in Winter. Alpine touring from hut to hut...come on Danny.
They could do the "Oat Root" on skis since they are ski-mountaineers...they NEED to do this, PLEASE!!!
I think Danny would die in the cramped huts ;).
What an interesting route on paper up from one valley through a mountain range into another valley up through a second range into a third valley.
Awesome stuff! Love these videos (and all your guys' stuff)! Thanks for letting us ride along!
Great series. I understand the steepness would kinda suck for running, but it's really why the hiking in Europe is so spectacular. Super steep with no horse shit on the trail, great restaurant/rufugio/refuge along the way, so you can travel light. Long gradual designed-for-horses trails in the US so suck.
Get in!
Awesome trip! Love your videos!
The cinematography is awesome. Even better when you’re stoned. 👍👍
My Europe vacation, is visiting the Pain Cave! Epic great videos and collaboration of your adventure
Love the videos
The most entertaining part of these is the little snide comments the boys make about each other. Funnily enough, I once had to have some hiking boots repaired in Sankt Niklas. In case Danny and the boys read this: if you want the best 4000ers (14ers to you) in the Alps, Zinaltal and Mattertal are the place to be! Zinalrothorn, Täschhorn, Obergabelhorn... the most amazing peaks and routes are in the place you just ran through!
legend
Nice work fellas!
Wow! What a wonderful day in the Alps and I'm not the least bit fatigued! I need to do this more often! Keep the videos coming I need the exercise
Hell yeah, I’ve been waiting for this
Love these guys! So Burly! Please do more in the Pacific Northwest (Ptarmigan Traverse???)
Super boring admin/logistics question (cause that's what I think about when I watch trip videos) how did Christof retrieve his luggage after the trip?
Joel Blanchfield they probably had a bus or taxi taking their luggage from hotel to hotel etc... or something like that
You could leave it at the airport or a hotel and pick it up later. Also, if it helps, within Switzerland you can send your luggage via Swiss Railway from station to station (check their website). Costs approx 10usd a bag and takes 2 days. So you could send it straight from the airport train station to another train station within Switzerland and pick it up after the trip. Greetings from Switzerland ;-)
@@rolandkuehne8015 I agree. We have done this in Spain and England up at Hadrian's Wall
Keep it up!! Looking forward to the next installment!
Great vid! Do you think that We could have a longer video showing all of your kit for all different activities?
Yes!
Hell yes
Tandem suffering is so much better than solo for sure!
Tandem suffering....definitely better than solo suffering. Cheers
This is driving me crazy and I normally don't ask these things but I cannot rest until I know: Where can I get that cap Christof is wearing? It looks so cool!
Enjoying the vlog of this amazing tour!
Dang! Those huts. The firewood pile was bigger than the house. Rough life for those folks.
Yep their steep, miss those Swiss potatoe entrees. Is The Eiger, Monch & Jongfrau at Kleine Shidegg/Grindlewald on your itinerary? Awesome scenery like all the rest over there.👍💯🇺🇸
HEY will you guys come to Western NC and do some mountains to sea/Appalachian trail runs?
Am I the only one who wonders what this guy does for a living to be able to travel this much?
He's a podcasting super star!
I know a couple who did this for their honeymoon. Towards the end of the week they took the gondolas down hill to save their knees.....
I like seeing it from over here hahahaha
gotten to the point where i just laugh at what these guys do
Have you ever looked up the words 'mediocre' and 'amateur'? What you'll not find is a picture of the two of you. If, on the other hand. you scroll down to 'epic' and 'professional' you may have two guys looking back at you who lock strikingly familiar to you guys.
Does anyone know how these guys are able to get out and do these trips so often? Are they self-employed, sponsored, freelancers, etc? Seems like an exciting lifestyle.
I've thought the same thing 😂.... It would be great to live close to that stuff 😩
Tandem suffering 😅
how the heck do you deal with blisters on your feet and keep going?
Haha! So, did you find any coins or skeletons?
just curious what did Christof do with the bag he didn't take on the run?
That downhill into the town looks like it'd be a great time on a bike. Are bikes allowed on these trails?
That sausage looks pretty tasty
Grubbin in Grumen
Beautiful video. Now I want to seek out that restaurant in Gruben.
Is this the route Hannibal took with his elephants?
Danny, what caused the blisters?
what's that sound at around 2:08- 2:12 of the vid?
sounds like he is taking a whiz
@@jakereeves2085 -exactly! Thank you!
How can you eat so much and then run uphill
Is there going to be a day 5 St. Niklaus to Zermatt?
Stay tuned. Should be out this week!
Yikes!
Anyone in this community from from Austria?
My birthday is in a few days and I wanna climb a mountain look at my profile pic that’s me on Mt St Helens
The view at 8:15 wow!
At 00:49, I saw Christof carry furniture? But you are not carrying it during the day. How is the furniture being transported?
2:50 it says on the sign it's 2 hours away, so it's probably an hour away 😂
