My favorite album. Wrath had some excellent rhythm. My favorite LoG album by far. Chris was totally in the zone and had some groovy beats. Set to Fail is my favorite jam with the full band. Try playing this on your kit. It ain't easy.
chris adler is about as skilled as most drummers, but he uses all his potential in his songs, unlike most drummers who play great solos, but are boring in songs. chris adler has such creative drum parts and it never gets boring
@StaticXFM I completely agree with you. Also, the fact that he's so clean is amazing. His hands are going lightning fast but you can hear every single drum and cymbal that he hits.
what he means is the way he plays. Like the rhythms can be expected, he doesn't try to do too much with his fills, or change his rhythm and beats throughout the song, he stays consistent, and is insanely solid. However i agree, what he does is not simple XD
if you buy the new album there is a studio experience disc that has vocals drum guitars and bass all seprate and able to listen to its worth getting to listen to on ipod at work CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@novitec360 Either rip it using a UA-cam audio ripper website/software or record it through a program like Audacity using the "What U Hear" audio output. Once you have the audio in a file on your computer you can then use any audio manipulation program you please drop either speed or tempo (tempo will not lose pitch).
hey, very nice!! just one question dude, what program or what did u use to get only the drums?? it´d be very helpful for us drummers if u could share to us what u used :)
@novitec360 Ultimately you need to end up with a file that contains the slowed down song... media player doesn't allow you to "save" or export files AFAIK. A program I use for this type of thing is Audacity, if you Google it it's got a sourceforge page where you can download and install it. From Audacity you can then open the file and carry out various effects including changing tempo. You can then export the file as WAV (it will be quite big) and burn it using media player if I remember.
That's a very common drum pattern, you'll find a lot of drummers use that because it's a very easy and great sounding little thing to do on a slow(er) part of a song.
@GrumpyGrebo Ok one final thing. I've downloaded it and all, but can you run me through how exactly i save it so that it saves the slowed down version? Explain it like I'm a total noob. Cheers man.
@GrumpyGrebo One thing bro, I can slow it down fine using media player, but if I wanted to burn it to disk at that slower speed how would I go about that?
you can never compare about music( except gay emo,punk RNB hip hop shit those were exception) but in Instrumental music, you can't compare them cause it's all opinions, well i also listen to all those bands that you do, and i really like meshuggah too ,yes true Tomas Haake stuff's are more complex than lamb of god and not alittle more complex, quite alot i think, but Chris adler is pretty creative, i like his drumming, yet lamb of god is my fav band, its the best band for me but not everyone
@Unrated48 @Unrated48 Ummm. I'll just assume your not a dummer, judging by that comment. Have you any idea what a gravity blast is? Give TheChosenLegacy's above comment a look, he's got the right idea. A gravity blast is a one-handed 16th note roll on the snare, on top of an identical 16th note roll on the double bass, while the other hand plays 8th notes on the cymbal of said hand's choice. Almost no similarity, other than the fact that there are drums involved...

I love his snare sound!!! It reminds me of St. Anger, but with more punch,,,
I fucking LOVE that snare
chris is an amazing drummer and this definatley showcases his talent
chris adler is about as skilled as most drummers, but he uses all his potential in his songs, unlike most drummers who play great solos, but are boring in songs. chris adler has such creative drum parts and it never gets boring
totally gonna b my new ringtone!! Cheers fella!
@StaticXFM I completely agree with you. Also, the fact that he's so clean is amazing. His hands are going lightning fast but you can hear every single drum and cymbal that he hits.
All of the Wrath and Sacrament tracks were released with a special 'Producers Edition' which had all the instrument mixes. Very cool :)
Um dos melhores batera da atualidade!!!!!

FUCK WHAT YOU THINK & KEEP IT METAL!!!
True, I dont know much on drumming, just caught that one day playing along to it on guitar, lol
He has the dest sounding kit!
amazing drumming
The snare Chris Adler uses is a Mapex Black Panther Chris Adler signature, tuned quite high. it's a 12x5.5 drum.
perfect...too clean ...chris the robot adler !
Perfect for me to practice guitar to
Pretty awesome!!
if you buy the new album there is a studio experience disc that has vocals drum guitars and bass all seprate and able to listen to its worth getting to listen to on ipod at work CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
damn goooooooood 😢

Chris adler is a fuckin'beast
covering this on drums, is set to fail.
Mapex buddy Mapex....... respect for life
Is it just me or do Chris' blast beats at the beginning sound like he's shooting at you with an awesome powered full auto of drumming?
Unlike many "good" drummers, Chris don't overuse turbo-double bass.
...I like that
sick, love playing this tune! how did you manage to get a hold of this instrumental? are there any more lamb of god drum tracks?
he has the sick style i waias i was good like him
say what you will, he is still insane!
@SharksEatDucks15 This was released on the special edition of an album.
perfect
hey, very nice!! just one question dude, what program or what did u use to get only the drums?? it´d be very helpful for us drummers if u could share to us what u used :)
@blackfirexxxx I'm saying that when started playing he already had a great sense of beat, was older, and had alot more coordination is all.
@NFSMASTER101 Yeah that's why I pointed that out. He's a god.

Omfg... I had the exact same drum kit as you. same sound and everything... then i woke up..
Wow, hes THE BEST!!!!!!! And im left handed aswell and play in a right handed kit :P
@fistepot He is also a Left handed Drummer.. and plays on a Right handed Drum Set =D... well so says wiki
no way someone this awesome is a member of PETA

dont u wish u were that good!
The fill at 2:32 is he playing three bass hits between tom hits?
The reason why I think he's one of the best is because he started playing drums when he was in his 20's.
dude fucking awesome!
how would you go about getting this audio in a way thay you could slow it down a bit?
@MetalPoster actually, no. he played bass up until college
@GrumpyGrebo You legend. I'll give it a whirl bro.
His foot drums are pretty sick
Fuckin shit he's awesome.
what? average? dude he is far from average. your one of those guys!
@doggylolipop In this song he doesn't go over 4 though.
Where u got the song ?
How did you get drum sounds only?
Best drummer of all time(after Neil Peart) :)
Oh this recording just melts in my mouth. Not in my hand.
listen to the sound of the bassdrum and then listen to dream theaters latest black clouds and silver sky!
@Calibur43
Nah it's gravity blast on toms...
Lol
@pantera5966 ikr
0:17 - 0:26
Some tasty double bass going on there.
where??
Nice! How can we get the stems?
producer edition of the album, might be tough finding them for sale online now though!
repetitions in his songs at 0:53, thats from walk with me in hell xD
@metalrocks21rapsucks well that just goes to show how talented he really is then right?
@drumgasm thats the human race for you
he first is keeping the down beat with his bass drum and alternating tom hits. then he ends it with a basic double bass roll down the toms.
also from now you've got something to die for and one gun 0:53
@ 0.56 sounds the same beat as 'walk with me in hell' but he is still one of the best drummers out there
they kinda sound like godsmack on this new album! :D
@GrumpyGrebo Cheers bro
how we can have just the drum part?
i had this on my myspace once and some kid thought it was me playing.. i like was wtf u think i could do anything like this? lol
@ninjadrummerman I respect your opinion, but i prefer this spectacular drumming than a song full of fills and all that stuff
rim shot?
Is this the actual snare sound from the album? It sounds so weak.
@ninjadrummerman i actually i play drums, but im talking about that i think his drumming sounds better with this song (Chris Adler´s drumming)
@lambolover14 they are somewhat repetitive, but yeah, he is a fucking amazing drummer xD
fuck yes i could play guitar to this. thanks
@novitec360 video 2 mp3 dot net, shove the link up there in ^ and you'll get the MP3 file.
@pantera5966 not really but kinda lol he still is fuckin siick
i thought chris was known for his guitar playing, is he the legit drummer for lamb of god? or does he switch with someone every now and then
His brother willie Adler plays rhythm guitar
@theneongray dont be jealous of his godly skills and then all the harder genres demonic skills..theirs a difference
@doggylolipop indeed :3
@TeamFallenOnes I do that too.

What snare does he use?
It's a mapex black panther. They're discontinued. You can get the same sound of a pearl piccolo if you tune it higher.
@mvyper St.anger's snare is the worst sounding snare ever, prove me wrong lol.
@MrRene806 I don't he is the most simple of drummers..He's fucking beast
Chris Adler is the best WOOO !!
a 12" mapex panther that has been discontinued
He doesn't sounds average at all...
His style of plays not based on speed like most drummers
Piccolo snare
Chris Adler is left handed and he plays on a right handed kit.
LIKE Godsmack, no shit they sound like Lamb of God
@flatlandskater198 hahahaha
@8thgradecuadorian Holy shit thats smart o.o.. I can barely play rhythm to this on guitar, but the fact is, i can :3
@Unrated48 @Unrated48 Ummm. I'll just assume your not a dummer, judging by that comment.

fuck, Chris Adler is just TOO good at the double foot pedal
@quadbassblaster at least he doesn't use cheating pedals. you do and he's still better.
