    You have actually two snubers, the other's at the inductive load, which actually is part of the converter.

    Do you have any video on ....How to design Snubber circuit for RELAY ? or how to protect RELAY Contacts ?
    for example 5V/5A relay and load is 220V AC.

    Incase am going to use a transformer with a 140vac tapping on primary with phase angle control using 2 inverse pair of thyristors for battery charging can i use impedance (z) or should i just measure resistance of primary side with no load on transformer with ohm meter for values of Load Resistance? Thank you sir.

    Thanks for the lecture and the downloadable excel spreadsheet.
    I wonder if I use DC supply on the primary side, then with the help of a oscillation circuit it is pulsing the primary of a high ratio transformer to generate 17kV spark (the spark jumps over 17mm in normal air conditions via opposite spikes).
    should I incorporate my 6v DC voltage where the AC RMS should reside?

    Sir, I am using a 3 phase contactor to switch a 25kvar capacitor at 440V(33A at 440V), can u suggest the right values of capacitor and resistance that can be used as a snubber to supress arc and protect the contacts of the contactor.

    Hi,in the video,if we are using RCD ckt. That is also to protect the mosfet so why did u again use RC ckt. Across FET and one more thing, in the same video, can we calculate RCD valiae in a systematic manner like how much reflected vol.,about FET rating, leakage inductance,Coss and all that,then calculate R and C value.

      For this application better to use zener diode or diode instead of RC snubber, because your application is under low voltage DC.
