We spend so much of our precious time in conflict with our soul trying to figure it all out on our own without tapping into the true grace of the holy trinity… be still and know that I am God has so much more meaning to me now that I am into the golden years ✝️🙏🏻
It is ironic to me that in a state of complete holiness you are no longer concerned about yourself or the opinion of others, there is a detached indifference. However, at the very depths of unholiness there can also be a detached indifference to self and others. Yet one leads to joy and liberation, the other to pain and misery. Perhaps it is the realization by those who gain acceptance that there is no mortal mastery or domain over any given variable in human existence, that sets apart those who are holy and/or unholy. I have a lot more thinking to do on this one.
"From Very worldly that Spiritual very little transitioning to Very spiritual that has to stay in the world a bit" This made quite a bit of sense to me
We are called to become Holy. Holiness is not something we achieve through hard work, it’s rather a gift from God as we open ourselves to him that he may fill our emptiness. The glory of God should be seen in that which is holy to the proportion to which it allows itself to be enveloped by God.
That's probably the biggest overarching theme of Friar Anthony's sermons. We must seek after Christ and love him. He's waiting for us to follow him with our cross.
The traditional Franciscan way is a reliable way to attain the gift of eternal life. However, it is not the only way. I enjoy much of what I hear here, but I am not sure if I could have a vocation to the Franciscan 3rd order if what I hear regularly is authentic Franciscan teaching. There is also the spirituality of the Dominican, Benedictine, and Carmelite 3rd orders.

Your words are like honey to me.
Thank you!
What incredibly brilliant and clear message, many thanks
Thank you, Father. God bless you.

Thy kingdom come, Lord. Thy will be done. ❤
Thank you Friar
The essence of the Christian life is union with God. It’s a journey which must begin in this life and continues in eternity.

For the longest time, whenever Friar Anthony mentioned Royo Marín, I thought he was saying, "Royal Marine" 😂
❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Christian is a relationship between God and man, man is called to walk with God.

Too much philosophy would render or make the way of salvation difficult.
It’s all about relationship with God and fellow man.
You clearly missed his point...
@@clinton1369 of course I don’t expect you to understand.
How did other souls get to Heaven if they didn't have this teaching that you give?

Why you are focused on them and not on yourself?
Maybe they are waiting on you!
