The past two weeks tho i have been ratted 70% of my games. someone that does not move and inch just sitting in rotation areas or high loot areas. I feel like the rat meta has gotten so much worse in the past few weeks. ive learned to deal with it but man its gotten rough here lately.

I'm still new to Tarkov, why does someone spawn in with him and drop a loadout around the 10 min mark? I assumed it was a friend who got his loot out in a previous raid he died in? Idk tho
Cheaters ruining your experience are the least of your concerns. You're going to die over and over again starting out and that's completely normal. Tarkov is the most unique fps game you'll ever play and it's such a roller coaster of emotions. BUT it takes a lot of learning and patience. You will HAVE to use the Tarkov Wiki as the game doesn't teach you anything, not even how to extract. You can get the base game and try it out, note that there's an expensive version that comes with a ton of bonus stuff that isn't going to be available in the store for much longer if you decide to go that route. It'll also come with all future dlcs and Arena for free. Again if you don't want to go that route just because it is a decent chunk of money you could get the base game, or even just wait for Arena to see if you like the combat vs the rpg game. Best of luck.
I am a regular hoe who plays Tarkov and while I never play the Labs map (it's hard to get in, and full of the best loot in the game, so according to legend a lot of cheaters go there), I've never had a big problem with cheaters. I've had a few suspicious interactions, but nothing explicit (like where they fly around or shoot full auto and hit you with continuous headshots through a wall). Could just have been terrible luck. I wouldn't worry about cheaters: if you think you'd like the game, give it a try. I promise you that you'll die 100x more to plain old Tarkov dynamics than to cheaters. The biggest cheaters of them all are the AI scavs, who alternate randomly between being useless meatsacks and aimbotting you right in the face from half way across the map through grass and bushes with a shotgun :D

I wouldnt say its more cheaters than other shooters, I wouldnt worry about it.
