He would part the water, hold out His hand to the people, feed, clothe, house, and find a place where they could prosper in their new home. There is a thing called legal immigration. Folks who want open borders seem to hate lega immigrants. Legal immigrants have to wait for a decade and frequently get sent back. In my twelve years in Texas, I’ve never seen a road crew, construction site, roofer, landscaper, window cleaner, or restaurant kitchen (just to name a few jobs) that wasn’t comprised of all or mostly all migrants. They are indispensable to the community and economy of Texas. They work as many jobs as necessary to give their children a better future.

I pointed out our own family history, our great (x?) grandfather came to America from Norway and died helping build the railroad bridges (trestles). We, every single American, are ALL IMMIGRANTS! Yes, you can argue that native Americans were here first, but DNA research has shown that even they came across the Russia-Alaska ice bridge, we ALL originated from Africa. Hence, we, all Americans are immigrants. I’m not saying we shouldn’t have stronger borders, it’s a much more complex world nowadays. But demonizing immigrants just seeking a better life is wrong as hell!
